They ate their dinner, and after that, they were given time to look around the Dotonbori area, so they went to eat, shop, eat, and eat more.
"I want the takoyaki," Seoryoung attempted to take one from Miya
"Not today," Miya held the food from a distance. "Go get one for yourself."
"If it's not nice?" Seoryoung shrugged.
"Nah, it will be nice for sure," Miya replied, pulling out a piece for her to try. Isa was drinking a smoothie and had a brain freeze.
"What in the world is this?" Isa groaned, rubbing her head. The brain freeze subsided, and she continued drinking it. She passed the half cup of smoothie to Sumin. "Drink this. It's too cold." Sumin nodded and drank the smoothie. Mashiho was taking some pictures around the area, but when he put his camera away, he saw Seeun look at Sumin sipping on a drink with a longing gaze and went to her. "What's wrong?"
"I can't drink cold drinks..." Seeun sighed. "Seven or more days without drinking my iced drinks, it's tough." Mashiho smiled and gave her a melonpan. "Try this instead." Seeun clutched the warm bun and took a bite. It was sweet, and the surface was crispy. The bread was strawberry-flavoured.
"It's delicious!" Seeun said, covering her mouth while speaking. Mashiho nodded. "Of course. Street food is always delicious. You can have it." "Really? Thanks." Seeun smiled. They looked around the buildings silently before he spoke up.
"Can you tell me more about you and your group? We originally wanted to be friends with you all."
"Sure." Seeun sat on a bench nearby, Mashiho following suit.
"So, we have Isa, Sumin, Sieun, Yoon, Yeeun and me. Isa has one brother, Lee Heeseung. Their parents live overseas, and they give the siblings freedom. Imagine having an ace as your brother. That would be great." Mashiho chuckled, and she continued.
"Okay, moving on, we have Sumin. She's the only child, and her parents live in Pohang, so she visits them every month. "
"Sieun has two brothers, Jay and Seonghwa. You saw her and Seonghwa battle during P.E., yeah. The siblings love playing badminton."
"Wait, Jay Park? The one that graduated years ago?"
"nO, not that one. The other Jay Park, Park Jongseong from 3-2."
"Oh. Oops," Mashiho said.
"Yea. And she said that once when they were little, their mother found the three hugging each other in one cot. And the thing was, they had separate cots, so their parents wondered how did they get in." Seeun turned to look at Sieun before looking back. "And Yoon, she has a brother as well. Sim Jaeyun."
"Jake from 3-2?"
"Yea. Their parents sent them here from Australia so that they could be independent. Yeeun has a sister, Seungyeon, from 2-1. Their parents live around Daejeon, but Yeeun and her sister used to live in Tokyo, with their grandma. They could argue for 25/8 because they have LOTS of things to argue about, so you can say they're mutual hotheads. But Yeeun still cares about her sister anyway. Also, Yoon used to live in Tokyo, and they were classmates."
"What about you?"
"I came from an orphanage after my parents passed in a car accident."
"Oh."
"Yea. But it's okay since i have the other five with me. They're like my family. Sometimes family doesn't have to be blood-related, i guess." Mashiho nodded. He gazed at the star-studded sky before looking back at Seeun.
