"trust no one but your circle."
it didn't sound like a good idea for six young, not-so-experienced high schoolers to take up a dangerous, life-costing and major mission.
"Isa, Isa, wake up!" Seeun whisper-shouted at the former, and Isa got up from her bed. "She checked the time on her phone and yawned. "What is it, you woke me up, seven o'clock on a Saturday morning when I could've gotten one more hour of sleep," Isa mumbled, tossing her phone onto her bed and having a mini heart attack when the phone nearly fell from the bunk.
"Mashiho asked if their group could hang out with us."
"Ah, sure sure, it's okay. Now let me go back to sleep, good morning." Isa hugged Seeun before gently pushing her down the bunk. She shook her head and went to her room to wash up. As soon as she went out of the bathroom with her casual clothes, she went into the kitchen and took out a box of salted caramel cake baked by Miya. Carefully, she cut six slices of cake and place them onto the plates. Yeeun came out of her room and yawned loudly, before taking one of the plates and dawdling around the food. Seeun sighed and placed the cleaning cloth down and sat on the table with Yeeun.
"You know, Haruto and the boys are coming to our house in the evening?"
Yeeun looked up.
"Really?"
"Of course. They're coming in the evening." As soon as Yeeun heard what she said, she started to eat her breakfast, so that she could finish up her work. Being the first one to leave the table, Seeun walked to the living room to arrange the cushions and books. As she heard some noises behind the entrance door, she walked to the door and pulled the door open. It was a sight to see wrapped furniture laying all around the corridor, which was a fire hazard anyway, but also a sign that a new neighbour is moving in.
Or perhaps, more than one.
"Watch it!"
A tall figure walked past her, carrying a coffee table. Even though she was shorter than him by about twenty whopping centimetres, she ducked due to her instincts. The tall figure placed the table down and looked at Seeun before smiling widely, who was at the doorway.
"I'm Seeun, I'm your neighbour, with my other five best friends. I hope that you'll stay here comfortably." Wonwoo froze for a second and shook hands, eyes glinting.
"Hi, I'm Wonwoo. I'm gonna be your neighbour, along with another eleven more nutty boys," his voice wavered. As soon as they stopped, someone shouted from the apartment he and his other eleven friends were going to occupy.
"YAH WONWOO! CAN YOU BE QUICK!" Wonwoo shook his head and replied to the voice, "Coming, Seungkwan, you didn't need to be that loud." A boy that was shorter than Wonwoo, but still taller than Seeun appeared. When he saw her, his eyes diverted to Wonwoo and glanced at him anxiously.
"C'mon, let's go. Hoshi's back at it with his tiger plushies again."
"Fine, and bye Seeun. I hope that we'll meet again soon. Let's go Seungkwan."
Seeun continued standing at the doorway, the scene of Wonwoo smiling playing back to back in her mind. It was giving her deja vu.
C'mon Seeun, I have to send you to kindergarten too!" A middle schooler gestured for a tiny Seeun to quickly get on his bicycle. She waddled towards her older brother and he carried her onto the child seat.
"Sit tight, and let's go!" He gave her a big smile and started pedalling towards Seeun's school.
Seeun shook her head. She didn't recall this memory before. The "older brother" she didn't have, his face was a blur, but she could make out the smile. She stared at the now-closed door of her new neighbour's apartment, thinking about what had just happened.
"Seeun, Seeun! Why are you standing here?"
She turned to Sumin, who was flummoxed. "Nothing much, just a new neighbour, I guess."
Sumin ushered her to go in and pushed the door to close it, but stole a glance at the new neighbours' house before doing it.

When Yoon heard Hyunsuk screaming in the lift while she was lazing around the living room, it made her jump at the noise. She briskly walked to the lift lobby to check if the lift was faulty, but to only see the lift doors opening and Hyunsuk smacking Asahi. Mashiho stood there, shaking his head while Haruto suppressed a grin. Yoon's lips formed a thin line and muttered, "I can't believe a bunch of weirdos are our friends." Asahi waved ecstatically at Yoon, grinning mischievously and she waved back at him.
"Y'all aren't going in yet?"
"Nope, not at all. But we might want you all to change into something comfortable, we're going out," Haruto replied, dragging the rest of them out of the lift first. She raised an eyebrow.
Yoon walked into the apartment and Isa came out, wearing her high tops. She looked up to see the six boys just waiting for the others to come out. She finished tying her shoelaces and leaned on the wall opposite the door.
"Where are we going?"
"Ehh, to the park? We're gonna rent bicycles."
"Are you kidding me? I didn't ride my bicycle for a long time, and it's probably too small for me already," Isa said, excitement slightly laced in her voice. Yeeun, Sieun, Seeun and Yoon were already outside, beside Isa, now waiting for Sumin.
Seeun looked at the neighbours' house.
"CRASH!"
She blinked to get rid of another memory.
