CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO, count down.

BRIELLE,

It was so cold in the house this morning, I snuggled up in the bedsheet as I used Danny's body as a body pillow. I was already half-awake, while he slept like a baby. I didn't even know what time it was, but the sun was already fully out, the house still absolutely quiet.

I sighed to myself in comfort, staring at the wall right across from me. I loved being around him, I always have. It has been very clear that our relationship is serious now, we did pull a very hard launch on everyone, including ourselves.

I've been thinking about it for a while, but Danny and I have never had a solid conversation about us. We did have the conversation in the car, but that was about it since then. Since I was leaving soon, I thought it would be best to have an actual stern and nit picking talk about everything.

I didn't want to go back home, then while we're away from each other for a little, it all gets thrown out the window. Maybe I'm just thinking too much. I tried to softly and slowly wiggle my way out of bed, without waking Danny up.

"Good morning," I heard Danny mumbled to me in his morning voice, "sorry." He moved his arm away, giving me more space.

"Morning, baby. It's okay. I just wanted to get up."

Danny rolled over, picking up his phone to check the time. He dropped it back down on the bed next to him, "yeah, I should probably get up too."

I posed right in the middle of the pier bridge, just perfectly where the sun shined above me. Danny stood in front of me, holding my phone, taking constant pictures of me.

"Do I look good?" I asked Danny, "should I do something else or—"

"You look fucking beautiful," Danny stared at me through my phone, "you're fine right there."

I walked back towards Danny, telling him to give me the phone back. "Thank you."

"She does that every time," Marsh whined, "got me out here sweating, standing, in this hot ass sun."

"They say don't get a pretty girl if you can't handle one," Danny said to the camera, "we stop to take pictures everywhere we go... I'm complaining cause I'm the one taking them anyways."

"You're not built for a baddie," I said to him, "no wonder."

Marsh pursed his lips together, slightly smiling, before he walked off. We continued our walk, passing different small shops and food places. I felt Kewon tap my arm, using his head to point to a ice cream shop. We both trailed off, going into the ice cream place as the rest of the guys walked off.

"Ohh," Kewon said as he stared at the menu, "what are you gonna get."

"I don't know... maybe..." I pursed my lips together, looking at the different flavors, "maybe cotton candy... or should I get a sundae?"

"Oh shit, I was gonna get that too."

I walked up to the counter, "hi," I smiled, greeting the working. "Could I get a single scoop of the cotton candy ice cream?" She nodded at me and I watched her make my ice cream. "...and I'll also do an ice cream Sundae." I said, ordering for Kewon as well.

"I was gonna order after you!" Kewon nudged my arm. "I'll Venmo you." I shook my head, telling him, no.

"Just the normal one?"
