Chapter 9

Samuel's Pov

Finally it's Friday. I can't wait to take my kids to picnic tomorrow with Allison. I have listed all food items that will be needed. Allison will take care of sweets. We always use Saturday for picnic because Sunday is all about watching animated movies with my kids in a comfy blanket.

"Sammy, Elias and Elliot, go to sleep. We all have to wake up early tomorrow." Allison said with a stern look on her face.

"Y-Yes Mommy Allison, g-good night" I teased her.

"Yes Aunt Ally"

Saturday Morning

I woke up at 5:30 in the morning and Allison at 6:00. We prepared food basket for us.

"Sammy, go wake up those two monkeys" Allison told me.

"H-Hey those are n-not monkeys." I pouted.

I went inside our room and those two were snuggled with each other just like 'monkeys'. She's right. 'sigh'

"Hey kids wake up."

"5 more minutes daddy, pwease." They whined cutely.

"Allison!! Elias a-and Elliot want to s-sleep. Let's cancel the picnic." I shouted playfully.

Their eyes widened in horror and they jumped from the bed and went straight to the bathroom to do their morning routine. I laughed at their reaction.

"You scared my pups Sam" Cedric whined.

"It was a joke C-Cedric. Their reaction w-was so c-cute. Don't you a-agree?" I said in between laughs.

"Yeah Yeah."

'Silly wolf.' I thought.

"I heard that!" Cedric exclaimed.

"s-sorry" I said sheepishly.

Time for their bath. I already prepared their outfits. I got them sky blue jumpsuits with their names written on it with black. It was on sale so I bought it.

Once we all were ready, we went outside our room and saw Allison in the drawing room waiting for us.

"Good morning cutie pies. You all are looking so cute." She cooed at the kids.

"Good morning Aunt Ally." Elias and Elliot chirped happily.

"The cab is waiting for us. LET'S GO!!" She shouted like a kid.

The cab dropped us at the location and we went to our usual spot, i.e., under the oak tree. The place was filled with different people. Everyone was enjoying. The weather was quite pleasant. But something was off. Cedric isn't excited as he used to be.

"Hey Cedric, you o-okay?" I asked him worriedly.

" I don't know why but I am feeling so antsy."

"Don't worry e-everything will be f-fine. L-Let's enjoy with our p-pups. It's been a while."

"Yeah."

I closed the link and looked at my pups. They were disturbing Ally.

"Hey Sammy! Help me with these two."

"yeah" I chuckled.

"Come on kids. Don't disturb Aunt Ally." I looked around and saw some kids playing.

"First of all, we will feed these two monkeys and then they can go to play." I nodded in agreement.

Ally started feeding Elias and I took Elliot. You see, Elliot is the clingy one. After we were done, those 4 small kids approached us.

"Hello Mister, can we play with them? Please?" one of them requested. How polite. I can't deny them. They are so adorable.

"Yes why not." I looked at Elias and Elliot. "Hey pups do you want to p-play w-with them?" They nodded their heads.

"Okay but please p-play in front o-of us."

"Yes. Thank You!" I smiled at them.

I snapped a picture of them playing with those kids.

"So Sammy, did you find someone?" Allison asked out of the blue.

"W-What?"

"Oh come on, I am asking about boyfriend."

"No!" I almost shouted. "I don't want a-any. I a-am happy w-with my pups."

"I know Sammy that you are happy. But you need a partner who can understand you, take care of you and most importantly, love you. You should at least give a chance to those who ask you out at the workplace." She said gently.

"I know Allison, but I-I am n-not ready. W-What if they will leave me broken. I d-don't want to be used."

"I understand Sammy but not everyone is the same." She sighed. "In fact I need a partner too. I don't want to be single anymore. I just want to lose my virginity." She whined dramatically.

"Don't worry, you w-will find s-someone soon." I assured her.

"You too Sammy." Not again 'sigh'.

"She's right" Cedric stated.

"Not you too Cedric." I whined.

"Hey Sammy!!" Allison shook me.

"Y-Yes"

"Look at those people. They are looking at us."

I looked into the direction and froze. My eyes widened in horror. I rubbed my eyes to check whether it is nightmare or not.

It's true.

They are here. X-Xavier is here.

"I-It's X-Xavier, Alpha of t-the O-Omnipresent Pack." I whispered.

That's it, they'll kill me and take my pups. I just know. I started shaking in fear.

"Are you crazy Sam. Don't give up. Take our pups and run away from here. And if anything happens then let me come out. Okay?"

"Yes C-Cedric."
