"Lisa Wake Up!!"

"Lisa" "LISA"
I and my kids are shouting frantically to gain her attention but it was of no use. The rogues killed her. I was late. I couldn't save her. My kids are crying hysterically looking at their mom. I am helpless. I don't know how to calm them. Dad and Sophia look shocked like they are not able process what's going on.
"Son she's gone. S-she will not r-return." I said softly to Xander and Seb.
"But d-dad. Please" Hiccups "We love m-mommy. Please wake h-her up."
I don't know how these rogues entered my territory. I won't spare them at any cost. How dare they mess with me. Our pack is one of the strongest pack in the world.
"Max, Damien" I called my beta and delta. They are also my friends.
"Yes Alpha"
"Find out how it happened. Who was behind the attack." I ordered them. Don't worry Lisa, you will get justice soon love.
2 days later
Two days have passed. We are mourning the loss of Lisa and other pack warriors. My children were the worst affected.
Right now, I am sitting at my office but my mind is somewhere else.
'KNOCK' 'KNOCK' Sudden knock interrupted me from my thought.
"Come in" I answered. Max and Damien entered my office. They had a grim expression in their faces.
"Any news?" I asked.
"Um- yes Sir, as per our research, these rogues were hired to kill you and Luna. And the person who hired them is very close to you." I looked up.
"And who is that?" I asked pinching the bridge of my nose.
"Your stepmother, former Luna Sophia."
"WHAT?" I slammed my hand in the desk and they flinched. "How dare you to accuse her of such a big crime? HOW?" I roared. They bowed their neck.
"We are sorry to say Alpha but we have confirmed it. We also learnt that she is cheating on your father."
"You may leave." I tried to calm myself.
I can't believe it. Sophia is the kindest one in our pack. She sacrificed her personal life for the sake of our pack.
I think I should reconfirm it. I called my Gamma, Lorenzo to look into this matter. He is my best friend and also a spy. His intelligence level is far from a Beta. I offered him Beta's position but he is too lazy to accept it. Lorenzo is monitoring every activities of Sophia very closely. I hope the truth is something else.
1 week later
My phone rang and it was Lorenzo.
"Yes Lorenzo, any info"
"Yes buddy, Max and Damien were true about Sophia. She was indeed cheating on him for a few years. She also spends money on expensive drugs." He continued "And she paid a hefty amount to those rogue to kill the both of you. Um- the war that happened almost 10 years ago when we lost Luna Alyssa, Beta Tyler and his wife and many other warriors was also plotted by Luna Sophia." My hands are shaking with anger at the moment.
"Come to my office immediately"
"Yes"
"Are you sure about the information"
"100% Xavier."
"Xavier, I came to know that she loved Samuel's father but she couldn't get him because of his mom. She became revengeful. She plotted his mother's death but was unsuccessful. She is a crazy woman. She hated Samuel for that. She blamed him that his father is not with her because of him. After their death, she started torturing him secretly. She threatened him that if he speaks anything about it, she will kill him. She finally succeeded in her plans when he was accused of poisoning your father. It was not Samuel who tried to poison him, rather it was Sophia herself. She framed Samuel."
My hands are trembling at the moment. Lucian is becoming restless. I am opening and closing my mouth like a fish. My vision is getting blurred when Lorenzo is narrating the truth.
"So all this time the traitor was right in front of our eyes."
"Yes Xavier"
"T-that means S-Samuel Jackson is--" tears started coming from my eyes. All the pains that I inflicted on him flashed in front of my eyes. Lucian howled in pain and regret.
"Yes buddy, S-Samuel is inno-innocent" I can see from my peripheral vision that Lorenzo is crying too. Lorenzo never hurt Samuel. But because of our orders he did nothing to stop the beatings.
"You m-may leave."
Once he went outside, I started breaking everything in front of me. My office, along with my mind is a complete mess right now. Lucian is going crazy. He wants to take control and rip Sophia apart. I will destroy her. She will suffer the same way he suffered.
We were blind. I was so blind that I couldn't see the truth in my mate's eyes. S-Samuel...you were right.
