Chapter 10

Samuel's Pov

I called Elias and Elliot. They came running towards me. Allison was still processing what was going on.

"Allison we n-need to get o-out of here. C-Call a taxi please." She snapped her head towards me and nodded her head. We picked the twins in our arms and went towards the opposite direction.

They are slowly approaching us. We finally went outside, the taxi was already there. I looked behind me and locked my eyes with Xavier. His eyes were filled with...regret? I diverted my eyes and shook my head to keep my thoughts at bay.

"S-Sam?" Xavier called me. What? No mutt or runt?

Then the most unexpected thing happened. Cedric took over and growled at him. It was so intense. He was beyond furious. Xavier and his friend stopped in shock. Heck even I was shocked.

"W-wow Cedric. It w-was you?"

"Yes it was me, now get in the car and run idiot" He growled impatiently.

"Yes" we quickly get settled into the car not caring about the things that we left in that spot.

I was breathing heavily as if I ran a marathon.

"Calm down Sammy. We escaped them." Allison placed her hand over mine to soothe me but it was of no use.

"N-no Ally, he is dangerous. T-They all are. You d-don't know t-them. They w-will kill me a-and take my p-pups away."

"No Sammy, you are overthinking. They can't do such things. We're not in their pack land. So they don't have the authority to do such things. And even if they try to kill us, we can go to the police station."

"You k-know nothing A-Ally. They a-are dangerous. They are l-loaded with a l-lot of wealth and p-power. I don't want t-to lose my pups a-again." I cried and hugged my children. They started crying too. We already left that place but they might be following us.

"Stop being so pessimist Sammy!" She looked behind to check whether they are following, "See they are not following us. Let me call Joseph. We can stay at his place for a while." Joseph is Ally's friend and coworker. He is a human but knows about werewolves. He is a nice person. Elias and Elliot likes him too.

"Daddy, we scared." Elliot cried.

"Shh.. Don't be scared. Daddy will always protect you. Okay?"

"Okay daddy" They hugged me even more.

"I will kill that Lucian and his human if they try to take my pups. They are ours not anyone else's." Cedric spitted venomously.

"Calm down Cedric"

"Calm Down! How am I supposed to be calm at the moment when my human and pups are in danger?" I smiled slightly at his protectiveness. 'At least my wolf is strong.' I thought.

"You are strong too Sam" He whispered.

Xavier's Pov

Shit! He looks so happy right now. Our pups are playing with other kids. He is so protective of them. He is talking with his female friend. Suddenly he frowned. 'What are they talking about?'

"go to mate." Lucian growled.

"Shut up! We don't want to scare him."

His friend whispered something and he turned his head towards us. And his once happy expression turned into a complete horrific one. He rubbed his eyes to recheck and whispered something under his breath. He shakily stood up and gathered one of the pups in his arms and his friend took the other. They started walking in the opposite direction.
