Samuel's Pov(14 yrs)
It's been two years in the cell and every day is a nightmare for me. I cry myself to sleep. I am only fed thrice a week with 2-3 loaves of bread and water. Everyone hates me now. Especially the Alpha David's eldest son Xavier. Xavier is two years older to me.
I am resting right now after being whipped by the Beta Robert for crying whole night and disturbing other prisoners.
"Ohh! Look the mutt is sleeping peacefully" Oh no! Xavier and his brothers are here.
They all are glaring at me and I bared my neck in submission.
"GET UP" roared Xavier. I whimpered in fear but still complied.
"Get ready for another punishment" smirked Arthur. Arthur was the most matured one among the three but even he believed in that witch Sophia. He even considered me as his little brother before. But now he just look at me like a dirt. And the youngest brother Liam, he is the quietest one. We use to play hide and seek with each other. It was so much fun before.
"n-no p-please, don't d-do this t-to m-me" I whispered in fear.
"Should have thought before poisoning my dad." roared Xavier.
"I-I didn't do a-anything, p-please u-understand." I cried out.
"SILENCE" growled all of them at once.
"Tie him up." Xavier ordered to Liam and Arthur.
He picked up the leather belt and started hitting me mercilessly. After 50 hits, I passed out. I don't even know what happened after that.
After 3 hours
I woke up while wincing. They were gone. There were silence everywhere except for the sobs that were escaping from my mouth.
Why no one listens to me? Am I that worthless?
Alpha David, who was closest to me after my parent's death never came for once to see me. May be he was disappointed in me.
I started singing fireflies song to calm myself, and it worked. I was about to sleep when the cell doors creaked open and the one standing was the devil itself. Yes, it was Sophia Williams.
"Well, well"
"My stress reliever is sweeping naaw." She teased me using baby voice. I cowered away in fear.
"Just because of your mother and you, I couldn't have your father and here you are, sleeping so soundly. I can't let that happen. Come on get up now it's time for some entertainment. "
"n-no l-luna please n-not today." I begged although knowing it was of no use.
She picked a knife from the metal box and made her way towards me. I backed away praying that someone will come for my rescue, but no one came. She put a ball of cloth in my mouth forcefully so as to muffle my voice. She sliced my legs 10m times and I was not able to control my screams. Tears started to spill from my eyes continuously. Then she reached for my hands and did the same thing.
I couldn't hold anymore and tried to pass out. She viewed my injuries in satisfaction and started laughing like a maniac.
I started reminiscing my past life when I used to play with my friends without any care in the world.
I never imagined that all their friendly faces will soon turn into the face of disgust.
Please moon goddess, just kill me already. With that prayed my eyes started closing sending me into a pit of darkness.
