Chapter 14

Chris's Pov

'Wow' I couldn't help but admire the omega in front of me. He is so adorable. The way he blushed when I called him 'Princess'. I know, I look creepy but I couldn't stop myself. Our cute moment was stopped by my stupid best friend Logan, who thought it would be great to slap me at the back of my head in front of this cutie.

"Bye Princess! See you soon." I winked at him before driving away.

I glared at Logan. "You freak! You just embarrassed me in front of him. He looked so cute. You are a spoiler. Huh!" I pouted.

Logan raised his hand in surrender. "Someone is having a crush Matt." They started laughing so loudly.

"Shut up! Both of you." I barked at them. "You didn't even gave me a chance to ask his name."

"We will ask for his name when we will meet him again."

"As if. Idiot." He smiled at me and then turned serious.

"I am happy that you have moved on."

"Yeah. I guess I have." I said.

"That boy reminds me so much of Nick." Nick was my mate. I met him when I turned eighteen. We were at the same pack but I never noticed him before. At first, he thought that I will reject him. Fortunately, I accepted him in an instant. I always dreamed for an omega mate. They are so small and fragile, yet so selfless. When I first met him, his face was covered in bruises. I asked him about it, he said it was some bullies at the school. From then onwards, I never left him alone at school. Even then he use to come at school with bruises. I knew something was off. Finally after 4 months, with constant persuasion, he told me that his father hates him. I requested him to stay at my place, but he always denied it, saying that his father will not be able to take care of himself.

After one year, my every hopes shattered into million pieces. I knew Nick's father hated him because of his ranking, but I never imagined that his hatred will overpower to such an extent that he will end up killing his own son. When I reached the place, my heart trembled at the sight in front of me. His father slit his throat and there was blood everywhere. He was alive but I knew he will not be able to make it. My wolf came out and gained control. I was trying to control my wolf but I was late. I ended up killing Nick's father and I don't regret at my wolf's decision.

I still remember the day, when I was not letting anyone to touch my mate's body. My parents, Logan, his parents and Matt were there to comfort me.

I still remember his last words. "Chrissy, I am going to die, but I have no regrets. Moon Goddess gave me a loving mate. These one year was the best year of my life. I wanted to spend some more time alongside you, I guess she has some other plan. Please promise me one thing that you will move on in your life." And I gave my promise to him.

From then onwards, Logan's father came up with a strict decision that whosoever was found to be tormenting an omega will be punished severely and in extreme cases they will face death or banishment from the pack.

I saved almost 25 omegas till now from their abusive families and I will continue to save them.

I hope I get to meet that boy soon. From his looks and nervousness, I can infer that his past wasn't that good.

Samuel's Pov

Today's day was pretty faster than usual. I checked the time and it's already 8:30 pm. I informed the manager that it was time for me to go home. A lot of things are going on in my mind and the main is Xavier's proposal.

I reached the apartment after half an hour. Elias and Elliot are watching Finding Nemo with Allison. I took a quick shower, ate my dinner and joined them. Elliot and Elias jumped into my lap. I kissed their foreheads and continued watching the movie. After half an hour, they fell asleep. Ally helped me carry them into the bed.

We came back and resumed watching the show.

"So, what have you decided?"

"About w-what?" I already knew what she meant.

"About Xavier of course."

"Ohh- I-I don't know. B-besides I don't want to t-think a-about him." Yes I don't want to think about him. But for Xander and Seb, I have to decide early.

"You have to answer him, right?"

"Yeah"

"He is not a fucking President. So we are not accountable." I giggled.

"What happened?"

"Cedric s-said that h-he is not a f-fucking 'President'." She shook her head and smiled at his childishness.

"Hey Samuel. From tomorrow onwards, try to reach home early. There are news that rogues are capturing packless werewolves. We can't take any kind of risks."

"Okay. W-Why all of a-a sudden?"

"I don't know. Maybe to increase their strength."

"Yes. I-I think t-they will not c-capture omegas. So we a-are safe f-from them."

"They won't capture omegas for fighting but they might use them for other activities. You know what I mean?" I shivered at that thought.

I think I should tell her about today's incident. "H-Hey. When I w-was on my w-way to the r-restaurant, a car s-suddenly stopped in front of me. One o-of them a-asked about X-Xavier's pack."

"So-?"

"Um he-he called m-me 'p-princess'." I turned red while telling this to her.

She blinked her eyes for few seconds and suddenly burst out laughing like a fool.

"Hey d-don't l-laugh at me. It was s-so e-embarrassing."

"Nah! It was cute. What was his name?"

"I d-don't know. W-Why should I-I know?" I lied. She narrowed her eyes suspiciously.

"Maybe---"She trailed off.

"Maybe?" I asked her.

"Nothing."
