Samuel's pov
Three days passed in a blur. Chris, Matthew and I are already good friends. I don't know what happened to Allison. She is not behaving normally since the lunch incident. She never looks at others while eating. I asked her countless times and she just shrugs it off. We all are having our breakfast and Chris is sitting in front of me as usual and Xavier is staring at me with an unreadable expression on his face.
"It's his daily routine." Cedric snorts.
Chris once asked me about Xander and Seb spending a lot of time with us and calling me daddy. I just lied to him about them being kids and not knowing what they are saying. I can't risk Xavier and my truth to come out ever. I felt very bad for lying to him but I am not yet ready to share it with him. Most of the pack members are new and they also aren't aware about it.
One hour later, everyone gathered at the pack ground for training. I asked Allison to come with me to watch them train but she declined. She informed me that she will look after the kids. So, I am alone sitting here doing nothing. I want to train but I don't even know what should be the first step.
After sometime, Chris approached me with a charming smile on his face. Looks like I am not alone anymore.
"Hey Sammy, wanna train with me? I will teach you some cool self-defense techniques." He looked at me hopefully.
"Um- Okay. Wai-"
"I will teach him. You can continue your training Beta Chris." Xavier cut me off.
"What? Why? I approached him first. So I will teach him." Chris answered back.
"You already have a warrior to train, you can teach him."
"And you are also doing the same thing Alpha. I will train him later. Beside he already learned some of the stuffs. He is just practising." Chris then turned to me and said, "Come on princess."
He grabbed by wrist and started dragging me to the ground. At the same Xavier grabbed my other hand which stopped the both of us.
"I could train him better Beta Chris." Xavier snapped at him.
"No, you are quite aggressive Alpha. I am a softy and I can do that well. Right sweetie?" Xavier growled at Chris. Of course he will now. This nicknames of him will lend him into a lot of troubles.
"Beta Chris. You go to the warriors. That's my order."
"I only follow orders from Logan. And I follow it because they are logical. I am my own man."
No no! I shouldn't have come outside of my room.
"I-I don't want to learn as of now. I will do that some other day."
"No! you have to. It's for your own good." Chris interrupted. God, he is so stubborn.
"Yes and that is why I will be teaching you." I looked up at Xavier.
'Let's teach him a lesson. What do you think omega?'
I shook my heads to push the memories away. His eyes softened at me.
"No, it will be me." Chris said.
"No, I will." Xavier retorted.
"I will."
"I will Beta."
"No. I will teach him."
"No"
I freed myself from their hold and went towards the direction of Matthew.
"Hey Matt, Could you teach me some self-defense techniques."
He smirked looking behind me. "OF COURSE SAM." He shouted at dragged me to a clear area at the corner of the field.
I looked behind to Chris and Xavier grumbling something under their breath and going towards their respective positions.
Matthew taught me some basics and it was taking a lot of time to learn it.
"Of course it will. Remember where we were at our learning age?" Cedric scoffed.
"Yeah. You don't have to remind me Ced."
"You are doing fine Samuel. You just need some practice and you will be able to defend yourself."
"Thank you Matt."
"You are most welcome Sam. And why Alpha Xavier was so adamant to train you?"
"D-Don't know." I just shrugged. He nodded suspiciously.
Maybe Chris will be wondering about the same thing.
Xavier's Pov
'Sweetie', 'princess'
My nostrils flared in anguish when this stupid called him that. I just wanted to shove him in his face that 'he is my mate' but I can't risk upsetting Samuel.
We were so engrossed in our argument that we forgot Samuel and looked at the direction only to find him train with Delta Matthew.
It's okay. At least he is not with this creep.
'God! When will this training end.' I cried in my thoughts.
I am bearing this beta only because he is well skilled both in combat and intelligence. Otherwise I would have kicked him out of this pack.
"You are so annoying Alpha Xavier." Chris snorted.
"Likewise, Beta Chris."
He huffed and stomped to his earlier position. I did the same afterwards.
It's okay, I will spend today's night with Samuel. I won't let this person win over me.
Same day(at 9 pm)
When I said clearly that I will be spending my time with Samuel alone than why is this person sitting with us and watching the movie.
"Ohh Moon Goddess, why are you complicating the things for me?" I whispered annoyingly.
"You're complicating the things for me Alpha? I don't know why are you here all of a sudden." Chris snapped.
"Shut up. You will never understand." I snapped back.
"Well then make me understand Alpha" Chris sneered.
"Shut up both of you." Oops I forgot Allison is also here. "You're scaring him."
We both looked at Samuel and he snuggled closer to his friend. Even if she considers him as his friend, I couldn't help but feel extremely jealous.
"Fine."
Never imagined this night to turn into a glaring session.
'Huff'
