Xavier's Pov
That slap hurts like a bitch. That girl knows how to fight. Her every word stabbed me like a sword. She was right, unfortunately. I still can't forget that hopeful expression on his face. He was looking at me with so much hope but I crushed it in an instant. And to make matters worse, I forced myself upon him.
"Mate, I want my mate." Lucian cried.
"Hey Lucian, please don't cry, we will try next time." I comforted him.
"They don't want us. My pups. I want to see them."
"We will Luc, we will." I closed the link.
Samuel never raised his voice before. He tried to remain strong but I know he is still that fragile and vulnerable Samuel. That fear is still evident in his face. He got triggered when I talked about the past events. I have to work much harder than I expected. All I want is a chance and fuck, that is the most difficult thing to get.
"Hey Xav, you alright? Your cheeks are still red." Enzo stated.
"Well thank you Enzo for reminding me but no, I am not okay." I replied sarcastically. We are driving back to the pack house.
"What next?" he asked me.
"I really don't know. Maybe I will take my pups to meet Sam. He hates me so much." I whispered the last part sadly.
He nodded. "But it's good that he hasn't given up yet. He tries to be happy for the kids." "And I will come with you next time too."
"Okay." Wait! I turned to him. "Wait! What's with that guy? Did you notice him?"
"Yeah! I—umm—he is my mate." Oh! So that's why. "I don't know how to tell him." He said nervously.
"Wow! Your wait is finally over. Congrats dude!"
"Thanks!"
At the pack house
"Hey kids!" I called my kids.
"Daddy!!" They came running towards me. "Did you meet our another daddy? Can we go and meet him next time?"
"Yes pups, we will soon meet him." But I don't know how it will go. Gosh! I am so confused.
"Probably good. We might get closer to him Xavier." Lucian stated.
"hope so"
Samuel's Pov
Nightmare
No one is there in the cell. I am trying to get some sleep. The cell door opened suddenly. But I didn't budge. I thought that they might go away seeing me sleeping. But I was again wrong.
"I know you're awake mutt." Xavier whispered huskily in my ear. A shiver coursed through my body. Still I kept my eyes closed. He stood up and I sighed internally in relief. But my relief was short lived. I was soon forcefully got kicked and my body came in contact with the wall. I groaned in pain.
He came towards me and punched me non stop. Blood started oozing out of my body.
"N-No just p-please s-stop."
"Hah! What makes you think so?" he started to unbuckle his pants. A sinister smile grazed on his lips.
"N-No p-please"

"NOOO!!" I jolted awake. I am breathing heavily and my whole body is shaking as if I am experiencing it in reality. I touched my cheeks and they were moist. I checked the time and it's 5:30 in the morning. There's no point sleeping anymore.
We are still at Joseph's home. Thank god it is Sunday today. I am not mentally prepared to go outside.
I took a quick shower and went outside the room. Allison was already up.
"Good m-morning Ally." She looked up at me. Her eyes were still puffy from yesterday's event. She cried more than me.
"Good morning Sam." She smiled. I took a seat beside her.
"So, what have you decided? Will you meet them?" She finally asked.
"Yeah I w-will. I miss t-them so much. I a-am worried a-about how Elias a-and Elliot will r-react." My pups are quite unpredictable when it comes to new people.
"Chill! They will be happy to see their big brothers."
"I hope so." "And t-thank you Ally for y-yesterday."
"Anything for you Sammy. You're like my brother."
A week later
Everything is normal, apart from the fact that I am going to meet my Xander and Seb today. Cedric is also excited to meet them. I only fear one thing, Xavier. I know he has changed but still I fear him.
"Shut up Sam! They can't and will never change. He is a bastard and that Lucian is an asshole. All they could do is hurt us. I am happy like this."
"I think y-you are r-right." I said to him.
"I am always right!" he stated proudly.
"S-Sure! Hehe!" I teased him. He growled at me.
As he was about to speak, the doorbell rang. I opened the door and there stood Xavier with his friend and my pups. I didn't spare a glance at them. All I did was staring into the eyes of my twins.
"Is he daddy?"
