Chapter 24

Chris' Pov

As soon as we reached at Dolma's Café, I booked a private area so that no one could eavesdrop our conversation.

"I am sorry but I don't want anyone to hear the conversation between us. That's why I booked a private area for us. Are you both comfortable?" Samuel and Allison nodded their heads in approval.

Samuel was about to say something but the waitress interrupted us.

"Welcome to the café. Would you like to order something? Here's the menu.."

"Coffee for me and, burger with fries and cold drink for them."

"Okay. I will be back in ten minutes with your order."

We started talking about various stuffs and enjoying our meals but I knew that I came here for the truth and I am determined to learn it today.

"So Samuel?" He looked up and whispered a small 'yes'

"Tell me the truth."

I collected all the worst possible scenarios that could have happened with Samuel over the past years. But I wasn't ready to comprehend what he actually spoke.

He gulped and nodded, then started his story.

"So, it was the time when I was only 8 years old. It was Xavier's stepmother and former Luna, Sophia. She turned everyone against me by falsely accusing me of poisoning Alpha David Richardson. Everyone believed her." He stopped.

"Why?"

"They thought I was taking revenge on the Alpha for letting my p-parents die. But I was never a revengeful one. I don't know w-why they believed her." His eyes were glistening with tears.

Then he continued his story of how that evil Sophia succeeded in her plans and how Xavier and his brothers bullied and abused him in the cell where he was locked up. I was speechless. I felt like ripping someone's head off. How could they do this? Were they out of their fucking mind?

"That fucking Xavier." I growled lowly.

"The story doesn't end here Chris." It was Ally who interrupted me. "The worst part is yet to come." She shivered at the thought.

"Wait a minute, there's more to it?"

Samuel nodded and once again continued his story. He started telling how he and Xavier were mates, how Xavier rejected him and raped him mercilessly for God knows how long. He conceived a set of twins, i.e., Xander and Sebastian. They were forcefully taken by Xavier. His lips quivered and tears were freely falling from his eyes. I was so shocked that I was not able to move.

"H-he not only t-took Xander and Seb f-from me, he a-again raped me. This time, h-he ordered his guards t-to throw me out o-of t-the pack b-borders. I-I was all alone. I didn't have a-anywhere to go. Then A-Allison came in my life. She was my only s-support.."

"N-Now Xavier k-knows the t-truth and w-wants me back as t-their luna. I d-don't want to go back but because of my c-children and their safety from t-the r-rouges, I am there."

So, this is it. The story of how heartless and cruel Xavier is. Never thought he would go to such an extent for revenge.

My whole body is trembling to rip him apart. My wolf wants to do the same thing. If it was our pack, Xavier would've been hanged by now.

"I will not leave him. I am going to tear him apart."

Sam's eyes widened hearing my wrath. He came closer and hugged me. He wiped my cheeks. I didn't realize that I was crying.

"You d-don't have to. It's okay. I don't want you to face any t-trouble for me. I don't want to burden you with m-my m-miseries."

"Samuel, you are the most kind-hearted person I have ever met after Nick. Please don't call yourself a burden."

Samuel's Pov

"Will you promise me one thing?" I asked him.

"What?"

"please don't tell this to anyone."

"I won't."

"And please don't fight with Xavier." He looked conflicting.

"I can't guarantee that."

'From his look, I can say that he was trying to come up with the ideas of torturing someone. But why? He should not involve himself in my share of troubles. I don't want him to suffer because of me. I am absolutely fine now. I have my kids in front of my eyes. There's only one thing that I desire for. But I know I will not get it. No one will love a broken and used person.'

"Shut Up Samuel. Only if you give a chance and look outside the world, you'll see there are people who care for you."

"What are you talking about?"

"Oh come on you stupid, Look at Chris, I guess he likes you. Or may be love-"

"No he don't okay. He loved his mate. He just considers me as his friend."

"Think what you want to. But you cannot ignore the way he looks at you."

He cut of the link without hearing my side.

"Damn you Ced." He's gone mad.

"Can we go to the pack?" Remembering my kids are still waiting for me.

We reached the pack within 20 minutes and as soon as we were about to go to our rooms, we heard a voice that will make Chris go crazy.

"Where were you Samuel?"

God please not now. I am not ready for this .

As soon as I looked back, Xavier was already on the ground holding his painfully bleeding jaw and Chris was about to pounce on him to hit him again. My eyes bulged out looking at the scene. They both started hitting each other. Both of their noses were bleeding like hell.

Xavier looked confused.

"Let him be Sam."

I need to stop them or else everyone will come out of their rooms to watch the fight.

"Stop please." I told them. But none of them were having it.

"STOP. STOP IT." I shouted at them and both of them stopped and looked at me.

"Are you okay Sam?" Xavier asked with worry-filled eyes.

"Oh please Alpha. You don't deserve to ask this question so shut the fuck up." Chris snorted.

"Who the hell are you to order me?" He looked terrifying.

"Yes, I will not let you hu-"

"Chris, Dude what the fuck is wrong with you." Matthew interjected. He looked confused too.

"Matthew please take Chris to his room. I will talk to you later." He nodded and took Chris with him. But, Chris being Chris, glared at Xavier before leaving.
