Love is indeed a journey. A journey of ups and downs— a journey that is not perfect but still worthwhile.

There is no wise person in love. You might thought that you are making a wise choice and a wise decision but is not. Loving is hard— it was not always easy. There are some people who depended themselves to the love that others could offer— sino bang hindi gusto ang mahalin? We all wanted to be loved in return. We wanted to feel special, to feel like we are needed to their life... which sometimes cause us in giving too much— because of the thought that if we give all of us— they will stay.

Hindi naman utang na loob ang pag-ibig; na kapag nagbigay ka dapat may pananagutan siya. Everyone has its own choice or decision in life even though she/he is already in a relationship. Love— it has to be worked out.

Hindi naman pwedeng mahal mo lang siya— eh sapat na 'yon. We may have different outlook, but for me, really, — love is not really enough to work out a relationship. Madami ka dapat i-consider, especially, your differences.

And love is not a trend— na kapag na-inggit ka sa relasyon ng iba ay maghahanap ka na. Tanungin mo muna sarili mo. Handa ka na ba talaga? O baka nadadala ka lang. Kaya nga don't always go with the flow— don't always go along with the crowd just because you are being left out. Baka kasi sa kakahanap mo— makalimutan mo ang sarili mo.

For me, self-care and self-love are very important kasi you would know your worth; you would know that you are deserving enough. So, you would know that you should not settle for less. Some people in love may not really care for it but for me iba— kapag alam mong naiintindihan mo ang sarili mo. Some people may think that you would find yourself with someone— but for me, again, may ibang sparks 'yung alam mong kilala mo 'yung sarili mo.

A journey is a process and a trial and error that you have to learn and be patient with. You'll come to the point of breaking down, of being exhausted and just want to give up life already— it's okay to feel gloomy for a moment— 'yung hindi okay eh 'yung nag-stay ka sa dilim na 'yon instead of figthing your way out.

We may differ in terms of being courageous enough in facing life's challenges but courage takes no measurement— it takes a person to choose to fight for his/herself and with all the life's trials throwing at him/her. Remember, you are more than those complex parkours.

In this world full of differences— it's okay to take a path like no other— but always remember that life is journey of finding yourself and not losing yourself. Be brave. Life will not be easy and so love does.

But— I also, believe that our mind is much powerful than our heart. Kasi nagsisimula naman 'yan sa pag-iisip— why are you getting anxious? Kasi na-fe-feel mo? Hindi— kasi iniisip mo. Why are you getting jealous? Kasi na-fe-feel mo? Hindi— kasi iniisip mo. Tama nga siguro 'yung psychology about love that —

Our hearts have nothing to do with the feeling of being in love. It's only a chemical reaction of the brain.

'Di ba sabi nila, if you constantly think of someone— ay iba na 'yan. Pero again, iba-iba tayo ng pananaw and it's okay. Thus, to change yourself too means changing your mindset— 'cause I believe— things start to change when you're being mindful. Outlooks and point of view change because of how we think and give meaning to a situation.
