CHAPTER FIVE

BETA AMARI was currently making his way to Alpha Avery's office to give the weekly report he made.

Nang makarating na ito sa tapat ng pintuan ay kumatok siya ng dalawang beses. "Come in, Amari." Alpha Avery said behind close door.

Beta Amari come in with a smile on his face because he is planning to tease the overly serious Alpha. However, when he finally came in— he saw Luna Pristine na nasa tabi ng asawa nito habang naglalaro si Thylan ng mga laruan nito sa may sala set.

"Hi! Tito Amari, you want to play po?" Thylan, a five-year-old kid, asked Beta Amari. He smiled at him before coming at his side and gave Thylan a kiss on his fluffy cheeks. "Next time nalang, baby Thy. Okay?" He asked softly.

"Sure po! We'll play business partners next time and transact with real money, yeah?" The kid said with a sly grin on his face.

Agad namang napangiwi si Amari. How unfortunate, nagmana talaga 'to sa Nanay. He thought before giving the kid with a tight smile at pumunta na sa harapan ng desk ng Alpha at umupo sa upuan.

"Good Morning, Avery-babe." He grin at him while the latter only gave him a nod kaya napanguso siya ngayon bago bumaling kay Pristine at tinaasan ng kilay ito.

"At nandito pala ang lata." He sardonically said at her while Pristine also gave him a smirked.

"At nandito pala ang feeling butterfly." She said with an evil-like smile at inikutan lang siya ng mata ni Amari before he looked back at Alpha Avery who is looking at them with amusement.

It's not a new thing to the Alpha to see his mate bickering with his beta.

"Anyway, here is the report. This week reported that there were no attacks from rouges or any foreign activities from in and outside the perimeter. Thus, this week has been a peaceful week." He seriously uttered.

Amari knows when to be tough— and when to be feminine. If it is related to work— he'll be damn manly in a way that no one will know— not even the atomic particles will notice that he is a woman in heart but if he was only have to talk with his friends he evolved into— a different identity.

"Oy, dragon-fly, one month pala mawawala si Amari version 2.0 'no?" Pristine suddenly asked at him.

He rested his back on the chair before crossing his arms on his chest. "Yups." He answered while remembering that woman who was invading his head for 3 days after she was gone.

What the fvck am I thinking of that woman? I'm being a weirdo.

"Ay, sayang! I-set up ko sana s'ya ng blind date this coming saturday." Pristine said after she remembered na kailangan ng lovelife ng kaibigan n'yang laging mukhang walang pakialam.

That caught Amari's attention and with furrowed eyebrows he looked at Pristine with disapproving scowl on his face. "She won't like it, Tin-can." He said with a scowl on his face.

Although, he actually don't know why he was acting like a mad man inside as his wolf growling in his freaking head. What's happening? He thought.
