FELIX was as happy as he could ever be. Spending early mornings, lazy afternoons and quiet nights with the man you love was a dream come true and he wouldn't trade it for anything else in the world.

As the prince had predicted, the king had indeed sent an army of men searching for him, but Hyunjin, without a doubt, sent them away immediately because he was ultimately in power.

Jeongin would visit from time to time, bringing Felix's mother along with him.

She understood her son's intentions and quickly grew a liking towards Chan, treating him like her own son.

Seungmin was over at their house multiple times in a month giving them excuses that he couldn't possibly stay at the Hwang Castle after every possible trade.

Felix knew that Seungmin just wanted to stay close to his best friend (and his delicious cooking), and to annoy Chan at every chance he gets.

Chan had formed a family of his own. He didn't need his father for validity when he had people around him that loved and cared for him.

He missed his brother the most. Minho barely visited them because all of Chan's duties were now given to the young prince.

Hyunjin and Jisung had grown an incredible liking towards Felix, sometimes making Seungmin and Minho fume in anger because of how close the two princes were with Felix.

It's already been three months since the couple started to live with each other and it had been nothing but perfect.

"Channie, there's someone at the door!" Felix called out from the kitchen, pulling out a batch of chocolate chip cookies from the oven.

Chan's absolute favourite.

"I've got it, honey."

Chan walked to the door in hopes of seeing either Seungmin or Hyunjin but what he saw was the complete opposite.

"Mother...?"

"Hello, Son," The queen smiled at Chan.

"Who is it, love?" Felix walks behind Chan and looks over his shoulder.

His eyes go wide once he does, quickly looking at Chan to find the same surprised expression on his face.

"You must be Felix?" The queen asks in a gentle voice, the smile from her face never fading.

"Y-Yes, that's me, your highness," Felix bowed embarrassingly, glancing at his lover as if asking him 'what is going on?'.

Chan looked behind his mother expecting to see his father and an army of men alongside him but he only spots his brother, Minho.

"We have something to tell you," Minho says from the back, walking closer to the house.

"May we come in?" The queen asked politely to which Chan could just nod nervously before moving aside to let his family in.

Felix immediately tidied up the living room and served them a batch of chocolate chip cookies.

"Thank you, dear," The queen said as Minho reached forward to take a cookie, immediately devouring it.
