JEONGIN sat on his bed with Felix the next morning. The chef had something very important to tell him and Jeongin couldn't stand the suspense anymore.
"Just tell me already, hyung!" Jeongin exclaimed, crossing his hands, pouting.
"I don't think I can say it to you in a nicer way so here I go," Felix takes a breath and continues. "I'm running away with prince Chan."
Silence.
Jeongin sat there stunned.
Felix was going to run away with the prince.
"Innie, please," Felix pleads. "Say something I-"
"Are you leaving me?" that was all that came out of his mouth. Voice low and desperate that Felix felt terrible for putting him through that.
"You know that I don't want to leave you, right?" Felix says, gently caressing Jeongin's cheek with his hand. "But I have to, Innie."
"Hyung... Why can't you stay? Did someone find out?" Jeongin was almost in tears and Felix couldn't bear to see the sight.
"No, but someone will soon and we don't want to stay to know what happens then," Felix explains, holding Jeongin's hands in his.
"He makes you happy, right?" Jeongin asks and Felix smiles fondly at his question. "You're leaving on your own will, right?"
"Of course, Innie," Felix answers. "He's the love of my life and I agreed to run away with him."
Jeongin looked at the older with sad eyes which still had a little hint of hope in them.
"Then I wish you good luck, hyung," Jeongin smiles through his tears rolling down his cheeks.
Felix quickly pulls him into a warm embrace, rubbing his back to comfort him.
The older sheds a few tears too, the thought of staying away from Jeongin broke his heart and he knew the younger felt the same way too.
"I'll miss you," Jeongin mumbles into Felix's shoulder, trying his best to prevent himself from crying again.
"I'll miss you too."
"Will I ever see you again?" Jeongin asks, parting from the embrace.
Felix smiles, "Yes, you will. Just ask Seungmin and he'll bring you to me."
"How?"
"Seungmin is resigning from his butler position and he's going to carry out trade relations from our kingdom to the Hwang kingdom," Felix explains. "If you ever want to visit me, he'll bring you along."
"Is this because he wants to see prince Hwang?"
Felix chuckles, "Well, yes, partly. He also can't stay away from his best friend because he's technically my other half."
"Can I come along with you then?" Jeongin questions. "No one else can make brownies as good as you and I don't think I can survive without them."
"I'll send over a batch to you through Seungmin whenever I'm baking them," Felix answers, glad the mood had lightened.
"Okay... Wait, what about your mother?"
"Well, I was hoping you could help me with that."
Jeongin tilts your head in confusion. "What do you mean?"
"I want you to tell her everything because I don't think I can," Felix answers, the smile disappearing from his lips. "Tell her not to worry about me and that I'll send her some money every month."
"When I visit you, can she come along?"
"Of course, if she is willing to."
"Alright, hyung," Jeongin smiles. "I'll do as you say."
"Thank you, Innie," Felix leans in and presses a soft kiss to Jeongin's forehead. "I love you."
"I love you too, hyung."

MINHO looked at his brother as though he was crazy. It was a joke, right? Chan wouldn't really go this far, but when he looked into his brother's eyes, he saw sincerity.
"You're absolutely crazy."
"I knew you would react this way," Chan huffed, munching on a chocolate tart, as he mumbled. "That's why you're the last person to know about this."
"Do you even know how many risks you're taking? Is Hyunjin even capable of keeping such a secret?"
"I trust him enough and I have some blackmail material so I know he'll keep his mouth shut," Chan says, rather proudly.
"What about the princess?" Minho asks.
"She knows too and she's more than okay with this. Changmi is benefiting from this too. It's a win-win situation." Chan almost chokes on his tart from laughing when he looked at Minho's petrified face.
"You even told her and didn't bother to even tell me?!"
"You know it now, right?" Chan simply said, reaching for another tart but Minho snatches the tray away from him.
"Those are mine. Get your own from your loverboy," Minho says.
"Felix made these for you?"
"He made a whole batch of them for Seungmin and me," Minho smirks, looking at the frown on Chan's lips. "Are you perhaps, jealous, brother?"
"What? No!" Chan sputtered. "I have no reason to be jealous."
"So you don't want these tarts?" Minho teased, playfully shoving the tray right in front of Chan's nose.
"Just give me the damn tarts," Chan grabs the tray and munches on a strawberry tart. "Why are these so good? Oh my lord."
"Be glad you have someone to cook these for you while you're in the Hwang Kingdom," Minho says. "Your cooking skills will burn the kitchen down."
"Oh, shut it," Chan bites down on his third tart, pouting, while Minho got a good laugh out of it.
Minho will truly miss moments like these with his brother. Care-free talks, small smiles, warm aura, chill breeze.
Minho wonders when he'll ever get to be with Chan again like this.
