I should not have looked up at him. Did that stop me? Of course it didn't.

I look up at him after telling him to thank me for a compliment. I watch the slight change in the brightness of his eyes, I watch his eyes go from admiration to lust. My logical brain is screaming at me to stop this, to move, anything, something. Logic does not win.

"Thank you"

He leans down almost hesitantly and places the sweetest of kisses on my lips.

I should not be encouraging this. This should not be happening. I cant stop myself though. Our chemistry is insane. You only live once right? No regrets.

When I kiss him back his arms wrap around me tight, almost like he is making sure this is really happening. When he releases me a second later, I am more than a little confused.

He brings his hands up to his face and drops back to the bed. I stand up and face him. We are both adults, and I was just bitching about how people don't know how to talk to each other. I can handle this conversation.

"If I did something wrong I am sorry, but I am not sorry for what just happened. In case you were wondering."

He cracks his fingers and stares at me through his hands for a moment before sitting himself up on his elbows.

"I should have asked first."

"As cute as that thought is, it would have ruined the whole moment. You read it right you know or I wouldn't have kissed you back."
I walk back over to the bed and sit down next to him. I dramatically throw myself back onto the bed and turn to look at him.
"You did nothing wrong Loner, stop over analyzing everything please."

"Its not something I do, kissing people like that."

"Well I am not mad at it in the slightest sir."

"So your saying I could kiss you again and you wouldn't stop me?"

"I am saying if you don't kiss me soon, I will take matters into my own hands."

"What would that entail?"

I sit up and look back at him, then shift my body to straddle his waist. I grab his hands and place them on my hips while bringing him up to meet me.

"Something like this."
I smile slightly as I watch his pupils dilate. I lean close to his ear and whisper
"Stop thinking please"

Before I can think another thought, his hand is on the back of my neck and he is full on kissing me. It is no longer delicate, not in the slightest. He is a man on a mission. My body responds to him instantly. Our tongues do a delectable dance between our mouths. I pull away long enough to remove his shirt, he removes mine in trade. And his mouth is back on mine, moving down to my chin, down my neck, my collar bone. His other hand is traveling up my spine and I am here for it. It is at that exact moment I remember one crucial detail. He has never done anything like this before. I pull away from him hesitantly.

"If we don't stop now, I will loose what little self restraint I have."

We are both breathing heavy. His response was to pull me back into a kiss that curled my toes.

He pulls away again, only to pick me up and flip us over. He leans into my ear and whispers my words back to me

"Stop thinking please."
