Chapter 43: The Princess and her Consort

I remember my first time traveling through the bi-frost. I remember how amazing I thought it was. Me being a nerd I wanted to understand the actual properties of how it all worked. Bucky was not as enthusiastic as I was. We walk onto the platform and Skurge closes the gate. I let go of him and his face looks a bit green.

Dets: "Are you OK Bucky?"

Bucky: "I've never ridden a roller coaster. I don't think I will ever in the future."

Dets: "What?"

Bucky: "That was different."

Skurge: "Announcing Princess Odette of Asgard and her consort James!"

I hear a high pitched squeal and turn around. Justina is standing there, seriously pregnant and looking amazing! I run straight over to her and wrap her in a hug. I have missed this woman.

Justina: "Princess, you returned. Does this mean that your mission was successful."

Dets: "Not just yet Justina. How are you. You look amazing!"

Justina: "I am doing just fine. My husband is excited to meet our bundle of joy soon."

Dets: "I bet he is. Have you asked the healers what you're having?"

Justina: "We decided we wanted it to be a surprise."

Dets: "I don't think I could do that. I think the not knowing would drive me crazy."

Faux Odin: "Ladies, shall we move this conversation to the main quarters?"

Justina bows her head and I roll my eyes. Seriously?

Justina: "Sorry All-father."

Dets: "Leave it to a man to be uncomfortable with women having a pregnancy conversation."

Faux Odin: "That is not it at all Princess, you are being announced with your consort as guests, we must get you prepared."

I turn and glare at Faux Odin.

Dets: "I need no special announcement, I need to go see the Healers and the Wood Women."

Faux Odin: "All in time. As much as you detest our royal practices Princess, you agreed to abide by them while on Asgard."

Bucky comes to stand next to me and Justina's eyes widen. I giggle before introducing them.

Dets: "Justina, this is my consort, James, he goes by Bucky, but I already know no one here will call him anything other than James or Royal Consort."

Bucky: "What?"

Justina nods her head slightly towards Bucky. I then get bombarded with jealousy, arousal, irritation, bordem, excitement, and fear.

Dets: "UGH! FUCK!"

I grab my head and fall to my knees. Bucky is next to me rubbing my back trying to calm me down.

Justina: "What is wrong Princess?"

Bucky: "Baby, talk to me, tell me what is wrong?"

Faux Odin: "We must get her to the Healers quickly! Justina run ahead tell them we need a transfer pod."

Bucky: "Not necessary." He lifts me up into his arms and looks at Justina. "Lead the way."

Justina looks back at Faux Odin for instruction.

Faux Odin: "Very well, go, quickly. I will have their bags delivered to her suite."

Justina runs like the wind and Bucky follows behind her as we make our way to the Healers chambers. When we arrive there is no one in the rooms. Bucky lays me down on one of the tables while Justina calls out to the Healers.
