Chapter 48: Goddess of who now?

TIME JUMP 5 EARTH MONTHS

So our one week long stay turned out to be longer than we planned. Bucky didn't seem to mind. I got to watch Justina's daughter be born. They named her Odette, after me. I am also the God mother. I cried like a child when she asked me. Bucky has been working with Loki on unlocking the memories stolen from him by Hydra and helping him resist the intrusion of negative forces. I have been working on my magic. I have successfully learned how to fly, air is the element I am most at ease with since it's everywhere. I literally use the air around me to fly, its dope. I am really good with water too. I can call it from my body but it leaves me dehydrated sometimes. I have created fire but I am better at pulling it from it's self, like a fire place. Earth is a bitch, because it has it's own will, it's own life force. I haven't had too much luck with it.

Loki and Bucky are actually friends of a sort which is weird in a way but makes so much sense in another. I have spent the past two months basking in the role of God Mother, I spoil the shit out of that kid. I convinced Loki they deserve a house not a suite in the castle. They were gifted a house by me as a present to my God Daughter. She will tutor with the royals tutors per my decree that should I die she will be my successor if I have no child. I basically made that little girl a Princess.

Bucky planned several perfect dates here on Asgard. I knew who was helping him but it didn't matter, it has been perfect. We had the ex conversation. That was fun, I don't think he quite understood how much experience I had prior. He did appreciate that 95% of that experience was female.

I woke up this morning feeling heavy, like I did before when I knew I needed to go home. I woke Bucky and he understood and started packing up our clothes from the closet, while I found Loki and told him it was time for me to go home again. I think this time around Loki is going to miss his buddy more than he misses me. Not quite sure how I feel about that. I mean they started ganging up on me. Calling me out on my bullshit and picking on me. They both learned quickly that it was not the best choice. The conversation I was dreading was the one with Justina. That girl was like a sister to me and I had to leave her again. I promised I would be back to see her soon.

We are standing at the bi-frost gate. I hug my new handmaiden Sophia goodbye. She actually calls me Odette, and doesn't curtsy, it was awesome. She also offered to accompany me and Bucky back to Earth to help us on our quest. I told her she was needed here. I asked her to be with Justina in my absence. My former handmaid would have my new handmaid as help. Faux Odin again says he will accompany me down and call on Skurge when he is ready to return. I ask him to drop me off where the jet crashed in Maryland. I faked my death there, seemed poetic.

The bi-frost opens and we are transported down into a field clearing in the woods. Maybe this wasn't the best plan, but I couldn't very well ask to be dropped in the middle of Washington DC could I? I need to keep a low profile. I am able to get a signal and call a cab, offering to pay extra to meet us off road. We take the cab into Washington DC, all of us wearing illusions so we are not recognized.

The hotel we are staying at his about a five minute walk from the Hydra black site. When I booted up my laptop LIL O was a bit mad that I left her alone for so long. She continued to pull random data drops from the internet and kept my Hydra file safe. Loki left as soon as we got to the hotel and got checked in. He and Bucky embraced before I launched myself at him like I always do.

Loki: "Be safe Kitten" He kisses my forehead before looking at Bucky. "Keep her safe Robot."

Bucky: "You have my word Greenie."

Dets: "What parallel universe did I walk into? When did you guys nickname each other?"

Loki: "During our boy time Kitten. He doesn't tell you everything."
