For starters, thank you for checking out my story, I appreciate it. I hope you enjoy my original characters as if they were really Marvel characters. Please be nice and actually tell me how to improve rather than bully me. I do appreciate feedback!
Second, for the sake of my story, this is an alternative MCU storyline. Major events and plot points that happened in the MCU may and in some cases will have differences. So, if something is not 100% correct, please just assume I changed it if I didn't outright say it. Imagine this is a weird spin-off universe as seen on Loki or What If. The characters we all know and love won't show up until a good chunk into the story. The beginning is solely based on the backstory of my personal characters, so if that is a problem then I'm sorry (but not really). That being said, this story is obviously mainly focused on my main characters and their growth and development.
Third, this is a mature story, meaning there is going to be very descriptive gore and heavy topics like mental illness and various types of abuse. I also like to cuss a lot. The point is, this is not for very young audiences. But I understand that even teenagers and adults may have problems with these things as they are heavy topics and may cause some to trigger. I will write warnings at the top of each chapter if there is something of note but do proceed with caution.
Finally, thank you for reading my note and if you wish to continue I hope you enjoy it! The point was not to scare you off. These sorts of things are not mentioned that much in the MCU because kids are a major target audience, and if they are they are made as brief comments or funny one-offs. To their credit, those can be human responses, but I wanted to show how these types of things affected my characters and how they made them into the people they are.
Apologies for rambling, let's just get into the story already.
