We all made it back to the plane and we started our flight back to Germany. All of my cuts had healed over, and only small scabs remained. Being that the injuries weren't as bad as the one on my arm, I predicted they would all be gone within the next hour.

I sat opposite Bucky on the couch. I watched with my head leaned back as he cleaned his arm. I couldn't help but stare as it was honestly satisfying watching him wipe away all the gunk that had accumulated in the little grooves. He didn't seem to mind though.

Sam pulled out his phone and started talking to somebody. " I need information on Donya Madani. She's a refugee that is somehow associated with Karli."

"Ok. I'm on it." I heard Torres come through.

"Good. Call me back when you get a hit."

"Will do."

"Thank you." Sam hung up and collapsed into one of the chairs with a heavy sigh.

"You ok?" I asked.

"Yeah. I'm just thinking about all the shit Sharon had to go through. Do you still think she's bad? Even after everything she did for us?"

"I admit. I may have been wrong about her, but I won't apologize for having suspicions. She still could be up to something. What really bothered me was that Nagel referred to Isaiah like he wasn't even a real person."

"You have a point there. It makes you wonder how many people have to get steamrolled to make way for this hunk of metal."

"Well, it depends on who you ask. That hunk of metal saved a lot of lives." Bucky said.

"Yeah, I get that...Maybe I made a mistake."

"You did."

"Yeah. Maybe I shouldn't have put it in a museum, maybe I should have destroyed it."

"Sam. You didn't mean that." I cut in.

"Look, that shield represents a lot of things to a lot of different people, including me. The world is upside down. We need a new Cap and it ain't going to be Walker. Before you destroy it, I'm going to take it from him myself." Bucky emphasized.

Sam was about to say something else when his phone went off. "Yeah?...Ok."

Zemo brought out all of us tea. I mouthed a thank you and took the steaming cup from him.

"Thanks. Good work." Sam finished. He hung up his phone and faced all of us. "They found Madani. She's dead. She died in Riga, a city near the Baltic Sea."

"Looks like we're taking a slight detour then," I said.

"I have a place we can go," Zemo added. "I, for one, am looking forward to coming face-to-face with Karli. Ozenik, we're changing the course."

"This place is beautiful," I whispered.

"It truly is," Zemo said. "Or was. This place used to be something much more." He added.

"How much farther is your place?" Sam asked.

"Not too much further...I heard what became of Sokovia. Cannibalized by its neighbors before the land was even cleared of rubble. Erased from the map completely. I don't suppose any of you bothered visiting the memorial?"

"It's on my bucket list. I didn't really get the chance to travel much when I came here. Wanted to keep a low profile." I spoke up.

"Of course not. Empty promises. Why would you? We are here." Zemo finished as he stopped in front of a building.
