"Um, you sure this is a good idea? There are a lot of people here." Jasmine whispered.

"Relax. We are all here just to eat food and talk." I reassured.

"Sam knows all of these people?"

"I guess. He is quite the people person."

A bunch of kids ran passed us. One of them stopped and stared at me.

"You're Moon Goddess!" He screamed.

"Hush. That's supposed to be a secret." I said. "Though, I guess I did go around with no helmet on for a while..."

"Hey! Do you have powers too?" Another kid ran up to Jasmine.

"Um. Yes?" She panicked.

"She's the Green Mamba!" One of the older kids ran up and shouted. "She has to be!"

Their eyes lit up and immediately started bombarding her with questions and requests.

"Can you shape-shift into my brother and get him in trouble?"

"Can you lift up one of those boats?"

"Can you take me flying? Uncle Sam won't."

"What do I do?" Jasmine whispered to me.

"Hey! Leave them alone will ya?" Sam ran up. "They're trying to enjoy themselves. Go on, scram."

"Thank you, Sam." I smiled. "I think they would've been our toughest fight yet."

"They are little troublemakers, I'll give you that." Sam looked over and saw Jasmine standing next to me. "I'll be damned. I'm taking this as you remember everything?" He smiled.

"If your Captain America now can I be Falcon?"

"Yup. That's her all right." He chuckled. "And no. I just have a bigger wingspan now." He pulled her in for a hug.

"Oh! There he is!" We heard somebody shout.

We all turned around to see Bucky walking up with a store-bought cake in his hands. Sam's nephews ran up to him and started play-fighting him. Bucky pretended to get hit but retaliated by threatening to smash the cake in their faces. He took off his sunglasses as he set the cake down on a nearby table. It didn't take him long to spot us.

"Hey." He greeted. Sam walked up to him and gave him a quick hug.

"Thanks for coming, man. And look, look who decided to crash the party." He pointed towards us.

"Good to see you." Bucky walked over and I nodded. "I told you it would work out." He hugged me.

"Hands off," Jasmine spoke up. He immediately let go of me and lifted his hands up.

"There it is." He smiled. "Still glad you made it."

"It's good to see you too." She smiled as she held out her arms. He accepted and she leaned up against his ear and whispered "I'm sorry I tried forcing that promise on you."

"It's ok. No hard feelings."

I thought about confronting her then about the promise but decided to not ruin the mood and let them have their moment.

"Come on! The food is getting cold!" Sarah yelled.

The next couple of hours were a blur as they went by so fast. I've never seen Bucky or Jasmine smile so much. They were genuinely enjoying themselves. Bucky was trying to show off for Sarah by hanging three kids from one arm but Jasmine being Jasmine went to one-up him by gathering the rest of the kids and letting them hang off of her. She even rubbed it in by shape-shifting into him. This earned a good laugh from everybody, including Sarah.
