Sitting in this stuffy courtroom, just anticipating for the judge's official declaration has me horribly apprehensive. I can feel the breaths getting caught in my throat every time they go to announce something, you'd think Michael would seem the most nervous but he's honestly sitting so calmly as if he was brought here for a speeding ticket. I wish I had the ability to hold myself together like he does.

"Will the jury foreperson please stand? Has the jury reached aunanimous verdict?" The judge questions in a serious tone.

The man who I'm assuming is the 'foreperson' clears his chest as he gets up from his seat. "Yes, your honor." He then hands another guy a piece of paper which gets passed on to the judge. He reads it silent and intently before giving it back to the guy.

The guy looks in our direction, speaking up right after. "The jury finds the defendant...not guilty." I let out a sigh, almost uncontrollably as I press a palm to my heart.

The judge stares ahead of him. "You have been found not guilty. The jury is thanked and excused. Court is adjourned. You are free to leave."

Shaky laughter is heard from Janet who sits on my left while the Jackson family cry out in relieved cheers. The first thing I do is snap my head to Michael who sit's there quietly. One of his attorney's, Tom, shakes his shoulder firmly. "Michael?"

He looks up at him slowly. "You won." Tom is beaming, Michael's eyes flicker with ease as tears start falling. He diverts his attention to me. "Did we actually?" His words come out unsteady. "We did." I feel myself getting emotional as I hug him securely. Michael brings his attorney into a bear hug, Tom looks taken back at first but soon melts into the embrace. I involuntarily stare right into Tom Sneddon's evil orbs, rage is written all over his face and it's killing me to hide the pleased smirk that I want to flash so bad.

We all stand up, Katherine is crying raggedly in Jermaine's arms. La Toya is shedding a few tears and so is Janet. Leaving the courthouse all in unison and having to face the reporters again is stressful but I'm so overjoyed with the news that I don't even care.

The fans scream out in happiness, Michael blows kisses to some of them but I'm still expecting somewhat of a reaction from him, maybe it'll hit him later. We're escorted back into the SUV, we're going to see Michael's family at Neverland so the goodbye isn't a sad one.

The start of the ride is peaceful, somehow I still can't believe the outcome. I peep at Michael and he looks serene, when's his burst of contentment going to come?

"Michael..." My hand lays upon his thigh. He hums through a quick breath. "You do understand you won, right?" I try making light of the situation but it's clear Michael isn't picking up on any of it.

"I do..." He says delicately.

"Well...why don't you seem...relieved?" I ask.

His eyebrows lower as his mouth opens slightly. "You think I'm not relieved?" I nod slowly. "My love, I'm so relieved, and-and thankful and gracious. You have no idea."

His answer makes no sense to me, if he is truly as happy as he says, why isn't he acting like it?

"So, why are you so quiet?" I don't mean to peg him with questions but Michael's mysteriousness really isn't needed right now.
