Michael

"Are we almost there, Michael?" Ariana slowly reaches out before feeling my side.

I laugh at her amusing behaviour.

"Almost." I state starting to see the lights of the rollercoaster from the road.

The pit in my stomach has grown a lot bigger and now I'm almost sweating, It's good she can't see me and won't be able to for another 5 so I have time to adjust myself.

Time passes and we're soon here parked in front of the amusement park, the place that our very first date happened. I rented the whole amusement park out until 12:00, not only because I want to be here with just her but there's no way we could enjoy our date with the crowds that would have formed here.

Not to mention, It's also little mind boggling to think that it was 5 years ago. It's also nice to think about how far we've come as people and as a couple together, sure we've had some bumps in the road, but ultimately our love is too strong to break us apart.

Which is why I'm proposing to Ariana. She's the one for me, I just know it. I really hope I'm the one for her as well, I mean, she's told me I am dozens of times but marriage might make her change her mind.

I take the key out of ignition, tucking my car keys into one of my many pockets.

"We stopped. Are we finally here?" Her voice pitches up in excitement.

"Yes, we're here." I click open my door and get out. Taking one last deep breath, I walk over to her side and pull her out gently. Oh, I pray she likes this all.

She stumbles a bit but gets out in one piece.

I take her hand and we stroll to the opened gate, untying her blindfold slowly, it drops from her eyes to my hand and I stand there in impatience as I try and read her reaction.

Her eyes widen as her hand is smacked up to her mouth.

"Michael, the amusement park where our first date took place." She beams, her smile so big and full of life.

Her gleefulness turns into confusion once she realizes no one is here besides some of the staff.

"Where is everybody?"

"I rented it out for the night." A little gasp leaves her mouth.

She turns to me, bringing my face down to hers.

"Every time I think I can't fall in love with you anymore than I already am, you always seem to fail that theory."

She perks up to kiss me and I smile into the kiss.

"I love you." She says before running into the park, wondering where she should even start.

"Gosh, I love you more." I state, not sure if she could hear me or not.

"Oh my gosh, Michael. We gotta go on the bumper cars first." She slides her coat off and throws it on her arm, it flopping over.

"You read my mind." My childish ways soon slip out of me as Ariana and I ride around in the bumper cars.

"Okay, that was the most fun I think I've ever had." Ariana exclaims as she eats her cotton candy.

"Honestly, same." I take a bite of my cotton candy.

"Okay, Michael. It must have cost you a fortune to rent all this out for a couple of hours."
