Ariana

Larry, Liz and myself all watch Dede jump around outside in her huge snowsuit. Since there's no snow back in California, she was in a huge culture shock once we arrived to London in December. Nevertheless, she loved it. "I don't think she ever wants to come back in." Larry jokes. "I don't think she ever will." Liz chimes in. The phone rings abruptly, Larry answers it rapidly.

"Hello?" He pauses. "Yes? Yes, she's here right now. I'll pass the phone to her, hold on." He puts the phone in Liz's hand. "Hello?" She answers properly. "Yes, oh you're serious?" She closes her mouth, refraining a response. "Oh, yes, yes. That's amazing. Yes, bring him right here. My address should already be there." She pauses. "Okay, thank you again for your help. Bye."

She hangs up the phone and steps towards me. "Michael is being discharged tomorrow."

My heart starts racing as my breathing quickens. Having Michael gone was torture so to hear he's coming back way sooner than expected is exactly what I need. And I think it's what the public needs to hear as well, there's been so much speculation that Michael and I were going through a divorce since he's been absent in my life for some time. But I don't know what the media expects, of course we weren't going to be together every second with Michael in rehab. I just wish we would have some privacy for once, our lives are constantly put on blast and it makes me want to scream sometimes. I just need to focus on Michael coming back to me tomorrow.

"Tomorrow? I thought he wasn't supposed to be released until the 15th?" My face is all smiles.

"Me too but I guess he's progressed so well that he doesn't need the standardized set of days." She states.

I bring both her and Larry into giant hugs, I can't wait to see Michael as himself again. And I can't wait for Dede to have her father back, she's been missing him so much and I know it has been killing her to be without him for so long.

"In the mean time, I have to go take care of some business deals." Larry says while grabbing his keys. "Oh, I'm coming this time." Liz insists which causes Larry and I to laugh. Liz and Larry escort themselves out of their home and I bring Dede inside.

Her face is as cool as ice. "Did you have fun?" I ask while I slip off her boots and snow attire.

"So much fun. I made a snow man for the first time."

A little gasp leaves my mouth. "That's amazing, Dede."

Once she's left in her warm clothes, I switch on the tv for Delilah, she takes no time being sucked into one of her favourite shows. I plop myself down beside her as I listen to the messages left on the phone for me. Nothing important is heard so I set the phone down and get up.

I'm on my way into the kitchen but I stand still as the sound of a knock on the door booms throughout the foyer. Liz and Larry didn't tell me they were expecting visitors, I look through the peephole first and Michael's doctor stands there, I also see a few shadowed figures around a minibus behind him, the same minibus that was waiting for Michael at the London Luton airport.

I unlock the door, swinging it open. "Hello, Mrs. Jackson."

"Hi." I greet him. "This may sound rude and I intend it not to but what are you doing here?"

"Dropping Michael off. He was discharged an hour ago and we've brought him back to you. Are you not aware of this?" He questions, fixing his tie.
