(a/n: okay so bc it's friday i'll be posting 2 chapters instead of one 😃 soooo yup...that's it also idk how to get rid of that annoying ass white line under the date and it's been annoying me so much bc it's literally only long halfway and then on the other side it's short but whatever i guess 🙃 okay bye)

                            February 12th, 1993

Ariana

"And this is the grand theatre." Michael points to the cinema that we all stand in.

"You guys have your own theatre?" Jordan's jaw drops even more than it already has.

He nods, "We do." He stops Jordan from walking any further. "We also have a zoo." This seems to excite Jordan's sister, Lily.

A little gasp leaves her mouth. "Can we please go to the zoo, Michael?" She tugs on his arm.

"If that's alright with your mother." Michael and I glance at June who inclines her head with a smile. "Yes, you guys can go. But listen to Michael okay?"

The two kids respond with a yes, Michael starts to stroll out of the theatre.

"Mommy, I wanna go to the zoo too." Dede whines in my ear. "We went yesterday, Dede." A short laugh leaves my lips. She throws on her puppy dog eyes and I shake my head humorously as I put her down.

"Daddy! I'm coming too!" She runs to her father as quickly as she can. Michael grins, picking her up.

They're soon out of sight which just leaves myself and June here.

"I gotta say, your little girl is adorable." I walk out of the cinema, she's fast to follow me.

"Thank you. Delilah is so cute too and so well behaved."

"We're trying to raise her to the best of our abilities, I can see that it's working." I say.

She chuckles and then responds back. "Maybe you guys could parent Lily some time, she's quite the handful." My face beams at her sentence.

"Would you like something to drink? Coffee, tea, lemonade?" I offer as we arrive back at the main house.

"Some lemonade would be fine." I nod at her request and we enter the front door.

I pour her a glass of lemonade, passing it to her, I brew some coffee for myself.

"You know, I've always wondered what it was like living here? It seems not only amazing but kind of overwhelming and I've only been here for about an hour or two."

While the strong dark roast brews, I sit by her. "It was a little shocking for the first couple of days, I got lost as many times as I can remember but now it's just like any other home, just a bit bigger."

She looks intently at me. "You know when I first met you and Michael, I excepted some snobbiness from you both. It's just so hard to believe that the two most sought after celebrities right now are so down to earth and kind."

I bow my head in agreement. "I understand how it could be surprising to you. This industry is known for the people being incredibly vicious. Fortunately, Michael and I just don't have that in our hearts."

The coffee finishes brewing. I pour the dark liquid into a mug, sitting back in my original seat.

"So, how old is Lily again?" I ask, sipping my drink.

"She's 4." My eyes brighten in enthusiasm. "Dede is 4 too, she seems to love your daughter a lot. You got to bring her back sometime for a play date."
