Alex poked her head from behind the door. Her head was spinning. She was able to build enough courage to do something as bold as to give him a kiss on the cheek—yes, in Alex's mind that was as bold as one gets in a day, but she wasn't prepared to have to face him so soon after.

"Yeah?" She said from behind the door.

Harry was ruffling his hair. "Sorry." He laughed awkwardly before offering an explanation , "I think Cal is passed out and I forgot my key card in the room. I'm kinda locked out."

"Oh." Alex said, still hiding behind the door. She was actually struggling to put her snow pants on, "Come in. Sorry just didn't have pants."

Harry almost choked, masking it with an awkward laugh as he walked into the room, "Sorry."

She closed the door, "Don't be weird."

"Can't promise that." He had an awkward smile on his face.

Alex shook her head, walking back into the bathroom, leaving  Harry to awkwardly stand in the middle of the room. She was looking for something else to wear aside from snow pants, but knew that it was not as if something would just magically appear in her backpack. She packed one spare piece of clothing--a shirt --the same one she was already wearing.

"Sorry just looking for something to wear as pants." She called out though the partially opened bathroom door.

She could hear Harry pacing the room before shuffling through something. "You can probably borrow something from Ethan's stuff."

Alex scrunched her face up even though she knew Harry couldn't see her. "That's weird." She was uncomfortable enough staying in a stranger's room--albeit a hotel room that they weren't even staying at for the night--but borrowing a stranger's clothes when they weren't there to lend it in the first place felt too weird for Alex.

"Why?" Harry asked, "That's what I'm doing."

There was some silence before Alex went to tentatively open the door a bit wider. She had one of the larger towels wrapped around her waist, "You can change in there i--" she stopped mid sentence seeing Harry quickly pulling his head through a different shirt, "Never mind."

She walked over to the bed to hide her legs under the covers while still sitting up.

"I guess I'll finish changing in there." Harry smiled at the ground, messing with his hair before disappearing into the bathroom. He didn't take long but by the time he stepped back out, he found that Alex had already slid  further into the blanket, nodding off.

Not a half hour later, Alex jolts awake a bit confused about where she was. She looks around and finds harry sitting on the chair in front of a small table that had the suite's little coffee maker. He was looking down on his phone.

Alex sat back up, fighting off the incessant pull of sleep, "What are you up to?"

He looks up from his phone, a tired smile forming on his face, "Not much."

She turned the tv on, taking a bit to go through the channel guide, "I don't remember the last time I've watched actual TV."

"Same." he looked up, he was a weird angle from the tv and couldn't really see much.

"You don't have to be all the way there, you know." Alex moved to one side of the bed but didn't say exactly what she meant.

Harry, being just as awkward if not more, hesitated. He wasn't sure if he should move the chair close to the bed or if she was letting him sit on the bed with her. He opted for the safe option and carried the chair over.
