Alex was trying to sleep off as much of her hangover as she can when her phone pinged. A small, high pitched sound that made her head hurt so much she was tempted to hurl her phone across the room. She figured it was Stella since she was still really the only person that she has exempted from when she had her phone on do not disturb.

Stella tagged her on a tweet, except she didn't really see the tag until  Stella, who can be very persistent at times, decided to text her with the screenshot.

It did not take long before Stella started calling Alex, who didn't pick up at first. But knowing that Stella was more than likely going to keep calling until she picked up, she eventually caved.

"What the fuck is this?" Stella 'S voice demanded as she called her on FaceTime, as if Alex would know

"What the fuck is this?" Stella 'S voice demanded as she called her on FaceTime, as if Alex would know.

Alex, who had always worked hard to tuck her emotions away and burying it deep, had an unreadable expression on her face, "I don't know."

"They're together? They were together all this time?" Stella was yelling now.

"First off, stop yelling at me because it's too early for that and I am hungover." Alex said, forcing a little laugh. Alex was so confused how Stella would've even seen this tweet or how she would've made any connections between this girl and Harry. Her best friend didn't even know who Ethan or the rest of the sidemen were throughout their day in the ski resort. Alex didn't exactly expect her best friend who had no idea about Harry and his friends' YouTube notoriety to all of a sudden be up to date with everyone's dating history. "Second, why are you mad at me?."

"First off, I'm just gonna say it, okay? Stop hanging out with that bitch Kate because you're drinking way too much now. And fuck that!" Stella's voice was hardly any more quiet than it was two seconds earlier, "Second, I am not mad at you. I am mad FOR YOU! Was he not all over you? He was definitely acting like someone who was available. And all the messages since that holiday. Come on Alex! What the fuck is going on?"

"Well you know," Alex shrugged, "shit happens? I don't know what you want from me. I don't know if he has a girlfriend. If he's been with her all this time, then he's a dickhead and I'm an idiot, and that's that, isn't it?"

"Babe, you have no idea how much I want to shake you right now." Stella said, her voice softening a bit, "I'm sorry. This is so shitty. But fuck! Alex, how are you not mad right now. You didn't know about this girl, did you?"

"I knew he used to have a long term girlfriend, yes. Not that we talked about it, but just because he's youtube famous. But no, I didn't realize they were still seeing each other." Alex's highly controlled voice turned into a fit of laughter, "I may or may not have had a couple of drinks with my meds again today too, so it's very, very difficult to be serious right now.  I can't even feel my face and that one song keeps playing in my head."
