There was a moment of silence. Everyone looked at each other in the eyes, scanning every pair before returning to look at someone else. Heeseung winked at Ni-ki, the younger falling back with a laugh. "That was disgusting" He laughed out, putting a hand on his chest. They were playing a game where the murderer would kill by winking at a person, Ni-ki was the first to get murdered.

"Yah! You just gave it away!" Heeseung yelled, pointing a finger at Ni-ki whilst trying his best not to laugh as well. Everyone joined in and began to laugh. It was a few weeks after Sunghoon began to slowly let go of Jaeyun, it was going pretty well. There would be little things that reminded him of Jaeyun, like whenever he would pass the park where they first met and even sometimes while laying on his bed. If anything though, Jaeyun was a happy memory. But he was beginning to let go, slowly but surely.

The six were at Jay's house on a Sunday afternoon. Originally it was so that they could help each other out with homework but they ended up giving up on that and decided to do their own things. That's exactly how they ended up on the living room floor playing random games that came to mind.

"I'm hungry," Sunoo whined, leaning and falling into the laps of Sunghoon and Jungwon who he sat next to two. He laid on his back, looking up at the two. Jungwon had a funny expression, making Sunoo giggle softly. "You're always hungry," Sunghoon mumbled, poking at the younger's cheek before playfully pushing him off of his lap. "That's also true but I'm serious, do you have anything to eat hyung?" He pouted and looked over at Jay who was sitting next to Heeseung and Ni-ki.

"Yeah but you get it, I'm not getting up from this spot," He pushed his back against the bottom of the couch and rested an arm around Heeseung's shoulder. Ever since a week or so ago, they started to feel like they were getting Sunghoon back. The male stopped sobbing over Jaeyun and would often talk to the others about his feelings whenever he felt overwhelmed. Their friendship was growing as the days passed, his trust grew slower but it was definitely growing as well. Even so, they could talk about Jaeyun from time to time without Sunghoon going into a breakdown.

Sunoo groaned and got the help of Jungwon to stand up from the floor, pushing on the carpet to stand on his feet. The blond male grabbed onto Sunghoon's ear, pulling him to stand up as well. "Ow! Ow! Ow! That hurts!" Sunghoon winced in pain. Sunoo stuck his tongue out and began to pull him along with him. "Let's go get snacks," The older male whined softly and allowed himself to get pulled along. "Why me?!" "Because I said so, plus you're the closest to me," They all laughed.

"Where's Jay hyung?" Ni-ki complained, leaning forward to rest his head on the cafeteria table. The five friends sat at their usual table to eat lunch but Jay was late, he wasn't in sight either. "I saw him walking with someone, he also texted me saying he'll be a little late" Jungwon showed his phone off to the youngest, earning another mumble of complaints. Sunoo who sat beside him shut him up by flicking at his forehead, Heeseung laughing at Ni-ki's face.

Sunghoon was busy with the paper in front of him. He was stupid and fell asleep before he could finish his math homework. So when lunch came, he had to rush to finish as the class was right after lunch. "This is what you get Sunghoon," Heeseung laughed, pointing at the male who was frantically trying to solve all of the problems. Though he was trying his best, everything came out scratchy and it was clear that he was rushing to finish it. "I was tired," He mumbled, erasing something on his paper before scribbling something else.

"Oh, Jay hyung!" Jungwon exclaimed, waving. "Hey, guys is it alright if he joins us today?" Jay asked softly. Sunghoon was interested in who it was but he was more determined to finish his homework, plus it would definitely lower his grade if he didn't finish this assignment on time. Whoever this person was though, was quite quiet and didn't speak, taking a seat on the opposite side of the table from Sunghoon.

"Sorry about him, he was IRRESPONSIBLE and didn't finish his homework" Sunoo stated loudly, making him giggle. Sunghoon paused, eyes going wide. That very familiar giggle made him stop whatever he was doing. He went through moments like these where he'd imagine Jaeyun again, imagine his laugh and even just his voice calling him Hoonie. So he thought that it was probably just his imagination, he continued with his homework.

"I'm Sunoo by the way," He could hear the male's smile from where he was sitting. "I'm Ni-ki," The youngest greeted, it was obvious that he was nibbling at something because his voice was a little muffled. There was a short pause before Heeseung cleared his throat. "My name is Heeseung," Sunghoon could see him wave from the corner of his eye. "And I'm Jungwon! It's really nice to meet you...?" He waited for the new male to introduce himself.

"Jake, my name is Jake!" He said excitedly. Sunghoon's head shot up, eyes going wide again. There was a very familiar male sitting right in front of him, smiling at him. That black slightly curly hair, the beautiful brown eyes, and most definitely his adorable smile. "Jaeyun?!" Sunghoon exclaimed, putting a hand over his mouth. What was he doing there? How can the others see him? Jake is his name?

"Uh, how'd you know my Korean name?" Everyone paused, staring at each other with a sort of shocked expression. Jay looked from Jake and then back to Sunghoon, shaking his head. "What are you doing here? And how can everyone else see you Jaeyun?" Sunghoon was suspiciously looking around at everyone else. Jake backed away a little and cleared his throat, rubbing the back of his neck.

"I'm sorry but do I know you?"

going to be completely honest here, we were going to end it where sunghoon just suddenly sees jake out in public and tries to go and greet him. like maybe hug and say "hi jaeyun!" but jake would be all weirded out and storm away saying, "i'm sorry, i think you have the wrong person," and then sunghoon is all like heartbroken but uh we thought that would be wAy too much sO, PLOT-TWIST TO MAKE THE STORY LONGER ✨
