Awkward. Silent. Cold. All of these words could describe how it felt sitting at the dining room table. At first, they were able to make short conversations and Mrs. Park would ask about Jake to get to know him. But after Yeji and Mrs. Park stopped talking, an overwhelming amount of silence overcame them. The youngest looked from Sunghoon to Jake with a confused expression, tilting her head. She was chewing up some rice before swallowing, allowing herself to speak right after.

"Are you guys alright?" Yeji questioned, patting his mouth down with a napkin to get rid of whatever was left of her food. Mrs. Park squinted towards Yeji and shook her head, she knew something happened and didn't want her to push it. "I'll go and wash these then, you guys go and have fun" Mrs. Park began by gathering all of their bowls and plates before grabbing all of the utensils they used. "I'm going to my room," Yeji stated before walking up the stairs, looking down at her phone from time to time.

Jake and Sunghoon slowly walked into the living room, silence overcoming the house again. Besides the sink running and the sound of Yeji moving around in her room, Jake and Sunghoon sat awkwardly. "I'm sorry," They apologized at the same time. Jake nibbled on his lower lip, playing around with the sleeves of the hoodie he wore. It was very warm in the hoodie but he couldn't help that the whole atmosphere alone was making it cold again.

"Look I'm sorry, I should have asked first..." They both were confused, they both didn't know how they exactly felt about the kiss. Especially Jake, who decided to return another kiss right after the first one. The older nervously stood up and began to walk around the living room, towards the shelf with a bunch of photos and books. "It—It's alright, let's just... Let's just leave it for now, I just need some time to think about this whole situation." Sunghoon agreed and nodded. "I agree completely."

The older then continued down to the other shelf where sat a bunch of trophies and medals. And pictures of Sunghoon an ice rink. In the photos where he was much younger, he was smiling brightly. But in contrast to when he was older, he frowned or wore a straight face. "You used to be a figure skater?" Jake asked softly, pointing at the photos. His eyes scanned over the trophies and at his name engraved in each one. ("It's not a sticker—It's actually engraved in there 😛" JAKE HAHAHA)

"Mhm, I became one when I was around... 9? I believe but I decided to quit when I turned 14. I got injured and it had recovered completely and technically I'm allowed to skate but..." Jake hummed. "I just didn't really want to compete like that anymore. I was getting more and more exhausted after practice and each time I competed I didn't feel happy to skate," Sunghoon explained, Jake continued to listen. "I still enjoy skating and do it once in a while though. It was hard letting it go to heal my leg especially since my parents were a little angry that I wanted to quit. But it turned out all right, it's more of a hobby now"

Jake smiled again and pointed at a picture of him smiling with a trophy and bouquet of red flowers. "Now this, this is baby Sunghoon. Look how small you are!" Jake laughed, pointing at the picture of one of his first competitions. "I think that was my first competition—Maybe actually the second but either way, I was so happy that I won a place" Jake laughed again and continued to examine the other pictures. But before Jake could look at any of the other photos, Sunghoon grabbed onto his hand. Jake didn't even respond and gave his hand a small squeeze, slowly scanning over the pictures again.

"We should go one day," The older said excitedly, looking back up at him. "Hm? What do you mean?" Sunghoon rubbed his thumb against Jake's hand softly, tilting his head a little bit. "Ice skating, I would love to go. It's been a while and it'd be really fun to go with you." Sunghoon returned his smile with a nod. "I would love to go one day."

Sunghoon's heart skipped a beat when he walked into his room. Jake was laying on his bed with Gaeul laying on his stomach, petting at her gently. He was mumbling praises and telling her how cute she looked. His smile was the absolute cutest while he ran his thumb by her small paws. "Oh hi Hoon," Jake greeted, picking Gaeul up to adjust her to a little more comfortable position.

The younger went downstairs to help his mother carry something and grab them some drinks so they could just relax in his room. He set down the two bottles in his hands onto the bedside table, going to sit beside Jake. The awkwardness between them was simmering down but the thought never once left his mind, he blushed again. Shaking his head at himself, Sunghoon turned to pet Gaeul as well.

"She's so small," Jake cooed. "Maybe it's because you have a Layla," Sunghoon joked and went to lay down as well. The older laughed as well as Gaeul began to move around in his lap, jumping down to lay on the lower part of the bed and in between all of the blankets. They both turned on their sides to look at each other. "It hurt when she jumped on us, my side ached for a few days" Sunghoon rubbed the side that Layla had jumped on. "Yeah, same" Jake agreed with a small smile.

"I got some time to think about it..." Jake suddenly whispered, looking down at his hands. Sunghoon took air into his lungs sharply, nodding. "I did as well," The younger whispered back, holding his eyes where his eyes would be. "I really don't know what to think about it but—" Jake paused suddenly to look into Sunghoon's eyes.

"I didn't mind it,"
