Chapter 4

Bella's P.O.V
I walked inside and closed the door behind me. I looked around to see if Charlie was home and he was not anywhere. I guess he was still at the police station. I looked at the time it was only 3 p.m. I walked upstairs to my room and took a shower. I then walked into the bedroom and found something on my bed it was a letter. I opened it and read the note. Dear Bella,
How are you? You have not replied to my emails. I cannot see you in my visions. What is going on? I hope you are doing okay. Edward would not stop pouting and crying. Well, I have to go I hope you keep in contact with me so that I know you are okay and that I will not worry too much.

I put the letter back in the envelope and set it on my desk. I went into the bathroom to take a shower. It was so long since I have seen Alice or heard from her I forgot I even had her email address. Ever since Jacob comforted me since they left, I forgot about her. Anyways, I finished up in the shower and put my pajamas on. I then went to my laptop and emailed her. I wrote...
Alice,
Hey, how are you? I am doing great, I guess. I miss our fun conversations. I got your letter, and I see he is upset. He should be. He left me heartbroken. Anyways, I do somewhat still have feelings for Edward, but I do not think I can forgive him for what he did to me. He broke my heart, and it is healed by someone else I instead have feelings for now. Therefore, if he ever comes back and wants me again tell him not to, because it will not happen.

I emailed it and looked at my cell phone to see if I got any messages. There were two messages from Edward. The first message said I miss you and the second said I love you I want you back. I deleted the messages and put my cell phone back down on my desk. I looked at the time it was 3:45. I got in bed and took a quick nap because I was so tired from the beach.
Two hours later...
I woke up, went downstairs, and saw Charlie on the couch. I walked into the kitchen to make dinner for Charlie and me. When I came in, there was food already on the counter. It was Lasagna. He must have made it when I was asleep. I got some and sat down at the table. Charlie came in and sat next to me.
"Hey Bella, how was your day with Jacob?" Dad asked.
"It was good." I replied.
"That's good, are you going to see him tomorrow?"
"I don't know. Why?"
"I just think hanging out with Jacob is helping you get over Edward."
"Yeah."
I finished eating and went upstairs to get ready for bed and got in bed again to go to sleep.
