Chapter 26

Bella's P.O.V
After school, I headed out of the parking lot to my truck and saw Jacob beside my truck.
"Hey, beautiful." Jacob said pulling me into his arms.
"Hey." I said hugging him.
"So I want to talk to you about the thing."
"What about it?"
"Well, what I realized is that I can't stay away from you."
"What do you mean?"
"The imprinting is so powerful that I have to protect you, and that means no one can keep you away from me."
"You do that anyway."
"I know I just wanted to tell you."
I laughed and shoved him. He laughed.
"So who told you this stuff?" I asked.
"Sam he told me everything." Jacob replied.
"Wow."
"So should we get out of here? You have to head over to Emily's to help plan her wedding."
"Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I was having something on my mind I forgot."
"What's on your mind?"
"It's college."
"What about it?"
"I got accepted to Florida State University."
"Wow, that's great. I'm so proud of you."
"I thought you would be upset."
"I'm not. I'm surprised."
"But are you upset that I'm leaving you for four years?"
"Wait, you're leaving me for how many years?"
"Four, I thought you knew."
"I don't keep up with college stuff I'm only sixteen."
"Wow, Jacob."
"Hey, I should laugh at you."
"Ah, huh."
"Anyways, you're leaving me!"
"I'm going across the United States. Yes, I'm leaving you."
"You can't leave me, Bella!"
"I know."
Jacob got angry and hot.
"Calm down Jake I don't want you to phase in front of everyone." I said.
"I don't care." Jacob said breathing hard.
"Jake I do, and you need to calm down."
"I got to go."
He ran toward the forest. I watched him run into the woods next to the school. After he disappeared into the woods, I got in my truck and headed home to pick up Madison.
