This is part TWO of the same book under the same title.
Tora never asked to be a Lunos and he certainly didn't ask for three mates.

~Galen~
My heavy eyelids slowly fluttered open, gasping for my breath as I nearly rise from what feels like the dead until a weight on my chest has me slowly deflating my chest and collapsing back into the hospital bed. The various monitors attached to me were silent as the subtle glow from my main vital screen above the headboard illuminated the dim room. The two IV drips running through my veins in my right hand must hold some ridiculously strong pain medication for me to feel this numb to the touch after the beating I took.
And yet, even if I was in pain, it wouldn't matter as long as he's here.
Tora's the only one in the room with me, somehow managing to contort himself into the tiniest ball of pure redheaded aggression with his head still using my chest as his personal pillow. With the most delicate breath to avoid waking him, I peek around the corner of my bed. Surprised to find my outlet hasn't been tampered with in case he tried to murder me in my sleep.
I turn my attention back to Tora only to find his head slipping backward with his neck forming an uncomfortable shape that has me quickly attempting to fix him.
Oh honey, you're going to be in so much pain once you wake if you keep your head like that.
I silently chastised my sleeping beauty who's short sucked in breath led to the loudest sigh, his head unconsciously snuggling into my chest while I tilt his head forward again. With his head now placed at a more suitable angle, I redirect my attention to the plain hospital room.
The glass wall separating us from the hospital's main corridor had a curtain pulled which darkened the room. Just outside the glass door, I'm mildly surprised by the amount of security personnel, usually they're always surrounding my father.
Oh.
A shiver runs down my body as the weight pulls my shoulders downward, the responsibility so overwhelming my heart starts to race and the monitor flashes yellow. In my panicked response, I accidentally squeezed Tora a little too tight, to which my boyfriend slowly raises from his slumber. Instantly eliminating my alpha fears and trading them for fearing for my life.
"Good, I'm glad to see you're alive so now I can kill you myself," Tora grunts with a slow yawn.
When he sits up, I instantly miss the feeling of his warm body against mine. Replaced with the thin hospital sheet as he scrunches his brows together, sitting on my laps as grips me by both my shoulders and throttles me to my core.
"I can't believe you sometimes! You are supposed to be the mature one and yet you're out here playing games and hiding things from me like I'm just a child! When will you see me as your mate? Why would you drug me? Why did you think I couldn't handle it when I was ready to support you! Why do you never ask me how I feel about things? Why couldn't you just ask me! I can't do this anymore Galen!"
