Tora never asked to be a Lunos and he certainly didn't ask for three mates.

~Beckett~
"Ready?"
I ask Indie as he sits on his bike and waits for me to let go. Holding him up after taking the training wheels off his favorite red bike at the park down the street from our house. The concrete path makes me want to put knee pads and elbow pads on him even though he refused, but at least he likes his helmet.
At three years old, with tiny spikes of his dark brown hair poking out of his helmet and a stubbornly determined look in his light green eyes. All while wearing his favorite PJs with a princess top and dinosaur bottoms along with red boots to match the crazy outfit that he proudly dressed in this morning.
"I'm ready Daddy, let's go!" My son exclaims while making an engine sounds as if he was going to speed off the second I take my hands off.
"Okay, I'm just going to give you a push," I warn him before I start running beside him with his handrail and seat in my hands. Letting go at just the right speed and to his instant squealing as he pedaled away and I have to jog to catch up to him.
"I'm doing it, Daddy! Look!" He laughs and I follow him, jogging through the park as he refused to stop. Running into the part of the path that leads into a woodsy area where a certain silence ensues and suddenly I can hear my own breathing, my heart racing, and my phone ringing.
In the distance off the paved path, standing in the wooded shade stood two hooded figures. One dressed in a cloak of gold and the other in white. Neither were moving and I could see their eyes but it gives me an eery feeling as I pick up the phone without checking.
"Hello?" "Hey Beck, listen I need you to come in. Cas and I are dealing with some personal shit at the moment,"
Jace says and I watch my little boy, slowing my jog to a stop while Indie learns how to spin in a circle before going forward. He's getting so big so fast and I feel like I have to hold on to every memory in these precious moments.
