This is part TWO of the same book under the same title.
Tora never asked to be a Lunos and he certainly didn't ask for three mates.

As the weakest member of his house, Tora has always been a lone wolf. He's never been the smartest, the bravest...

~Tora~
"I can't believe we're doing this,"
"I mean they did invite us,"
"I'm sure they're going to regret that,"
I mention as I lean into Casper's shoulder with my arm hooked around his, in our dark Crimson suits with my baby looking as handsome as ever in his gold crown. It was my first time wearing mine and the weight of the gold was both surprising and slightly uncomfortable. Although it's not nearly as uncomfortable as this tailored royal uniform. The way the heavy gold chain dangles from my shoulder to hold the crimson cape in place with our house's crest holding the chains at my neck.
It's my first public event that I'm actually prepared for and the cameras are on Casper and I the second we stepped out of the SUV until we passed through the gates to the Lotus Palace. We ignore the political questions about our weak ties to the Lotus royal family and our disappearance from the spotlight for the past two months with Casper holding me close with his head held high.
The wedding coronation of Matteo and Nero was well underway by the time we stepped foot inside as important government officials bustled about. Finding their seats in the main event room which seemed more like a chapel with its decorative tiled floors and painted ceilings recreating the creation of Kailea from the tsunami.
It seemed like every five seconds we were stopped by someone wanting to say hello to us and I held my small fake smile for so long that my cheeks were starting to hurt. While Casper speaks to someone from the house of Kailea about trade defense, I watch him and my smile morphed to something more genuine in his charming presence.
The way his wavy hair gelled back into the perfect soft curls around his crown made him look like some kind of innocent prince. But he's not a prince anymore, sharing equal rulership rights with his siblings as written in law, making him King the second he graduated Antum.
I love the way his dark completion really matches the gold accents on his suit and how he talks with such a natural assertive power that even if he didn't have the slightest clue about what he's talking about you wouldn't doubt a single word.
Why does he have to be this fucking handsome, charismatic, and charming because now I'm stuck looking at him like some lovesick idiot and I can't even focus on what he's really saying with the way my heart pounds in my ears.
Of all people he could have been mated to, I still and always will question why me. I can't help it when my mate is out here looking and acting like everything one could dream of and I'm just some bratty redhead with a shitty attitude.
But then again if anyone else were to touch him we'd be throwing hands first because he's mine.
"This is my mate and the Lunos Tora. Our coronation ceremony is at the end of this month and I hope you'll be able to make it," Caspers says, squeezing my arm with pride and when the man extends his hand I instinctively go to take it, but Casper gives him a dark glare that has him instantly pulling back.
