This is part TWO of the same book under the same title.
Tora never asked to be a Lunos and he certainly didn't ask for three mates.

"I told you it would be boring if you brought me,"
"Hon, you're a lot of things and boring is not one of them,"
Tora corrects me as he gently swings back and forth on the porch swing with a small leatherbound journal in his hands as he nibbled the top of the pen in thought. He makes relaxing look easy while I'm a tight ball of nerves, fear, and stress tangled deep within.
"Is Casper still bothering you?" I ask as I take a break from cutting wood for tonight. Although it's the beginning of spring, there's still that chill in the air in the morning and I wasn't going to give Tora hyperthermia of all things.
"I wouldn't know, I told Micah to handle him and turned my phone off," He mentions and I don't know how he does this and remains so calm.
I could tell Casper was holding back his long list of threats due to something Tora has whispered in his ear just moments before we left. Tora might be small, but he derives his power from his words and after being on the receiving end of that anger, I never want to go there again.
While Tora's curled up in a blanket wrapped around his shoulders, I'm working up a sweat. Taking off my shirt after the next cut with the hatchet and tossing it on the railing. With the dark clouds rolling in, it's looking like it's about to rain and I don't want all of my work to be pointless.
"Annnd there goes my focus," Tora chuckles and I look back to find he put his pen down and was just watching me.
"Why? What happened?" I ask as I pick up the next piece of wood that needs to be split, easily chopping it in half in one swift motion.
"Oh I dunno, maybe because my husband decided to turn into a sexy lumberjack all of the sudden? Please tell me you have a plaid shirt somewhere," Tora explains and I scratch the back of my head. Me, sexy? So I see he's got jokes.
"Honey, I think you need glasses and no, I don't think I own plaid," I mention and he laughs again.
"Glasses? I can see the definition just fine, in 8k actually," He adds and there's a strange burning sensation meeting the skin of my cheeks and my heart.
"And now I have an excuse to go out with Hugo, maybe I'll go back to Lotus. I knew a vendor there that always had the softest plaid shirts but I couldn't buy any. The owner gave me one free shirt a year and I treasured that shit because it was that or the white one from school," Tora mentions and I listen. I feel like the longer I know him, the more there is to unlock and I'm starting to wonder if this knowledge quest to know everything about him is even possible.
"How are you feeling?" I ask him and he smiles, picking up the pen again as he stares at his notebook.
"I think I really needed this. The solitude and fresh air is refreshing. We should do this more often, maybe rotate you know," He mentions and I start stacking the split wood to bring it inside.
