[Hi!!!!!!! Trying to update every week is hard work when you have SO MUCH HOMEWORK! I once spent 6 hours on a Saturday doing homework, when I'm meant to relax! Anyway, enjoy.]
Gabbie's POV:
"I-I-I.." I started as I looked around "how did I get here?"
"I carried you." Josh looked up from behind his fringe; he was sat next to me, leaving no space between us at all. I really didn't mind though, I preferred it from sitting away from him, I'd sit like this with him all the time if I was able to.
"So. Please tell us what happened." I looked over to Libby who looked concerned but stern, I never thought I'd see her again, they were all probably better off without me, better off without hearing the story.
"I had a panic attack..." I tried to steer away from what they were really asking me
"No." Kennedy interrupted "Tell us what happened, when you were meant to meet us, we need to know."
I took in a shaky breath and shifted in discomfort from the four pairs of eyes that all landed on me, waiting for an answer that was hard for me to say.
"Ok, so it was the morning I meant to meet you guys, and I was walking down the high street. Stupidly enough, I put on Facebook that I was 'so excited to meet up with you guys after ages' and put my current location and your location on the comment. Then, the boys from year 11 messaged me." I paused, I was about to say it, I could feel my airways closing again, I pulled my knees up to my chin and hugged them in desperate need of comfort from something, anything before I could even think about continuing "They said that if I didn't stay where I was so they could come and get me, they'd get you guys. I just wanted to be a good friend and protect you guys. I never thought they would do-do" I started sobbing at the horrific thoughts of that day, and felt myself being pulled into Josh's side for a hug. I nuzzled my face deep into his chest before tears that'd been threatening to fall from my eyes rolled down my cheeks one by one. "Do that to me, I never knew, I never knew..." I repeated that line, it was the only thing I could think of that wasn't a flashback or disturbing thoughts.
"What did they do to you Gabbie? Please tell us, we're not mad at you." Libby reassured me, she was now sat on the other side of me, patting my knee caringly with Calum close next to her.
"So I waited, for what felt like ages because of them and their stupid terrifying threats, but I know it was only a few minutes, maybe even half an hour tops. Anyway, when they got there they told me to walk down the street with no fuss and no distress calls or whatever, then I realised, I realised they had a knife with them, and one of them was holding it to my back the whole time I walked down the street. Th-they told me to go down an alley behind some shops, of course I didn't want to but they were still threatening me with the knife. S-so I did, and they tied my hands behind my back and started hitting and cutting me with the knife, over and over, on every single inch of my skin. After that I think they gave me something and filled my mouth with water so I either choked or swallowed what they gave me. I was unconscious for a while, I don't know what happened then, but when I woke up I had ripped clothes and my arms were still taped together, covered in my own blood."
I breathed out in an attempt to calm myself down. I was still being cradled by Josh in his arms. Libby, Kennedy and Calum just looked at me in astonishment as I curled up in an even tighter ball, putting my head in my knees, blocking out their judgemental thoughts. Josh pulled me onto his lap and whispered in my ear so quietly that only I could hear.
"It's gonna be okay, don't worry babe. Nobody's gonna hurt you, I'm gonna protect you, I promise. I'm yours, always."
