Josh's POV:
I felt a wave of anger surge through me as Gabbie told the story, how could someone harm someone as amazing and beautiful as Gabbie?

"It's gonna be okay, don't worry babe. Nobody's gonna hurt you, I'm gonna protect you, I promise. I'm yours, always." I whispered into her ear while she was curled up on my lap. She curled into me even further.

I meant it too. Whoever these guys were, they won't see tomorrow, and Matt and his pathetic little group too, they'll all be destroyed once I find them.

Gabbie went home, she was finding it hard to breathe. I put my number in her phone in case she needed something.

Sometimes I forget that I've only met her today.

"Guys, come on. We need to talk."

Me, Kennedy, Libby and Calum were now behind the bike shed at the back of the school grounds, a shitty place to meet I know, but I urgently needed their help getting these arrogant bastards, there's no way in hell they're going to get away with what they did to Gabbie.

"Okay, who's in? I need you guys, Gabbie needs you guys." I pleaded

"I'm in." Libby said instantly
"Yup, me too. She's our friend, she proved it today, and a few months back when she protected us." Kennedy nodded

I looked over at Calum hopefully, maybe I asked too much from them? What if they back down?

"Hey, of course I'm in, I'm always in! Even though I've got no idea what the plan is or what might happen to us but yeah, like Kennedy said, she protected us so now we'll do the same.

Relief hit me instantly at their words. I smiled gratefully at them, already forming the plan in my head.

"Okay, so I know this isn't gonna be easy; and it will take time. But I have a plan..."
