When I regained a little bit of consciousness, I felt something soft under my legs and back.

'Oh no... they got it wrong, I was going to hell but this feels like heaven' I thought to myself forcing my body to stay still. I listened closely to any noise of people, but it was completely silent apart from some machinery sounds.

I tried to move my muscles to wake up properly but regretted it immediately as a sharp pain went through my whole body making me clench my jaws trying not to make a sound. I was trying to open my eyes but it took some time. Not a second later I heard a door opening.  I stayed still but I made the mistake of putting my arm down again moving it causing me to clench my jaws again trying to push it away.

"It's better if you stay still," a voice said and I recognised it from before. It was the same deep voice as the man who found me, or so I thought, the memory was kinda unclear.

"Oh, I'm sorry... sir?" I said uncertainly finally opening my eyes. I needed a minute to get used to the bright lights. Shit, it was hurting like hell but I could finally see the man sitting next to me on a chair, but clearer this time.

"You can just call me Steve," he said smiling softly, this situation was too suspicious, I was probably being tested, some weird... simulation... "Oh okay... Steve," I said dryly but he didn't give a response.

I couldn't find the strength to sit up straight, as I looked to the other side of the bed I saw a lot, and I mean A LOT, of injections on my body being connected to a weird device, I started to take a better look at where the injections went in my body.

"It's to ease the pain, we didn't exactly know what happened to you, so we just let you recover here and keep you stable," he explained but I didn't look at him while I was still trying to put everything together.

I frowned at the thought of people taking care of me and couldn't really believe that this was a good simulation. Maybe to find weaknesses.

"Why didn't you just leave me there?" I said dryly looking into his eyes that were light blue. He looked up at me with a surprised look.

"We saw you laying there in pain, you wouldn't be there anymore if we left you there," he said softly and now I was the one looking surprised. I would be happier dead than being tested on again. I just started looking up at the ceiling examining it falling back into my thoughts.

'What is happening to me?' was the question that I was trying to figure out in my head, but my thoughts were interrupted by... Steve.

"You look tired, get some rest, and we'll talk later, okay?" he said standing up again and he looked uncomfortable. "Okay," I mumbled with my eyes already half-closed feeling how tired I was when I couldn't even move my body.

It took a long time to trust the room enough to close my eyes, but after a while, I was too tired to keep my eyelids open and I gave in to the sleep.

-----Time Skip-------

"What do you mean she already woke up? Are you kidding me cap, you should've warned us..." The loud man woke me from my sleep, and when I opened my eyes I could 2 people in the room.

'I don't think they noticed I'm awake' I thought to myself trying to lay still.

"Well, it looks like you woke her up so are you happy now?" 'Dammit,' I thought to myself as I opened my eyes. Steve was looking at the man with the sunglasses on... inside? Who the hell wears sunglasses inside?

"I will be happier when she talks," sunglasses said acting sassy making me frown, I was right there? He looked at me with curiosity and a thoughtful look making me more uncomfortable and uncertain of them helping me, or if they were still testing me. I was so confused.
