In the kitchen was Clint drinking water he had a bandage around his left arm.
"Welcome back sunshine," he said happily smiling. "Hi, so is that the damage?" I said jokingly pointing at his arm, he just sighed and rolled his eyes.
"You got to learn your boyfriend more manners," he said. "I'm not his girlfriend, yet, nor his mother," I said smiling making him smile back at me.
"All right kid, I'm going back to work, good to have you back," Tony said and walked back into the elevator. I looked back at Clint who was still standing in the kitchen, I walked over to him feeling I was hungry.
'Did I even eat today?'
'No, wow I need to eat before Loki asks'
I grabbed my suitcase and took out a closed off jar, I took some soup I made with me since there was still plenty left. I put it in a pan and started warming it up.
"You know pizza is here at 6 right?" Clint said from behind me. "Yeah I'm just hungry right now, so I'm eating," I said turning around and having him a small smile.
"Yeah because you gotta eat before your non-boyfriend finds out, right, so what happened?" he asked lastly and I turned around while the soup was just warming up. I leaned on the counter and crossed my arms feeling uncomfortable, why was it that obvious?
"I've had a weird day, so I will tell everyone later when I feel better, that's all," I responded honestly again, it shocked me how much easier it was getting to express feelings, but in a non-direct way.
"Okay, just let me know if you need anything," he said smiling before he walked away.
After that, I just finished warming up my soup and I brought it with me to my room with all my stuff floating behind me. I felt more comfortable being back here, it really was a place I could get homesick for. I opened the door to my room and it felt emptier than normally, but it was still clean, someone must've cleaned it while I was gone, since I told the cleaners they didn't have to do my room.
I put on all my decoration lights and some quiet music, got my bowl of good soup and took it with me to the fluffy carpet in front of my window.
I felt at peace and just looked at the city that was slowly turning on more lights while the sun was still up but the moon was also already in the sky with it. I felt my energy regaining from the food and quiet but also knew it was rude to not say hello to everyone.
I just ate my soup feeling satisfied and already better, so I put it aside and started unpacking my suitcase and prepared a laundry basket to do later, and then I reminded myself to properly clean the bathroom later as well.
I just dropped everything and knew I had to go to Loki first, I missed him very badly, but I just needed a moment before completely being back, but now I was way too excited to see him again to clean first, so I teleported in front of his door and knocked.
"No Thor just leave already and tell father no," I heard him say harshly, I frowned at the comment and immediately started to be curious about what it was about. I opened the door for a little bit and saw him sitting on his couch facing the window reading a book, I smiled,
"I think he already left," I said softly and the next second Loki's head turned around in shock. "You're back!" he started saying happily and he jumped up from the couch and ran towards me, lifted me up in the air and hugged me.
I laughed out loud and hugged him back tightly, just smelling him again and touching him made me happy. After a moment he grabbed my face and started kissing me deeply and he smiled in between the kisses.
