 Two days later

"Celene, wake up," Steve said softly. He kept sleeping in the same room the previous nights ever since we arrived here. Not like we did a lot of sleeping but this time I passed out somewhere in the night.

I opened my eyes confused, but he was smiling at me feeling happy, maybe because he saw I was truly sleeping this time.

"Wear this and come to the kitchen when you're ready," he said and without saying anything else he left the room as if he was in a rush. I looked at the pile of clothes he gave me so I woke myself up probably splashing water in my face in the bathroom before getting dressed.

The clothes fit perfectly and it was a workout outfit but with long sleeves. It made me wonder whose clothes I was wearing this time, every time they gave me random piles of clothes but I never saw anyone else wear them.

I walked to the kitchen and it was still very early so only Steve was standing there making smoothies while the sun was already up. He made me drink the smoothie while he joined before he told me we were going to run for a while. It made me happy that he wasn't as cautious with me anymore and he just did what he thought was right for me, like training and going outside.

It was a good run but it was hot so I sweat a lot after an hour. Steve could run crazy fast like me so we had no trouble catching up with each other. My headache returned gladly and I slowed down with Steve following me looking concerned at me.

I got glances of running in other places with him and I sighed standing down just letting the memories flood my brain, but it never hurt any less.

"Here," Steve handed me a water bottle and I gladly took it letting it cool down my burning throat. Everyone just knew that when I was in pain, I got memories, and it happened all the time. Yesterday I sat with them at dinner and it got so painful I left after a while making me feel bad.

But everything around me made me remember the smallest detail from something else and it was annoying the shit out of me.

"I saw us running around a lake, with some other guy," I said out of breath and he nodded smiling. "Sam, haven't seen him in a long time," he responded and I simply nodded. We walked the last round around the base back in silence until I spoke up.

"I haven't seen that one guy since we arrived, the one with the bright blue eyes, what's his name?" I asked him. I haven't seen him since then and all I remembered was him hurting me so at the time I got scared, but he looked like he cared about me, and not seeing him didn't let me see anything good we may have had.

"Bucky, he's just giving you space," Steve answered and I sighed. "I feel really bad for him, he must've struggled with the same memory I had about him, I couldn't imagine what he felt when I flinched from him," I said dryly.

Steve started telling me some things about Bucky, how he got to the tower and what our past was like, but it wasn't all good and bad, it was a whole ass transformation we went through. We shared a Hydra past, which must be a lot to remember again.

We went inside again where other people were eating breakfast. They smiled at me but they kept their distance even though I could feel all the things they felt when they walked away from me. I did my best to socialise and to be kind but that damned headache.

I sat at the kitchen island across from Natascha who was making some food, she gave me a surprised smile but didn't push me to say anything. I liked her and she was bearable to be around.

"Do I keep wearing your clothes?" I asked and she looked up with a certain nervous look making me doubt if I was wearing a dead girl's clothes.

"No, they eh... were yours," she said and my eyes widened. "Oh... well they still fit," I said trying to be light-hearted but it didn't feel that way.
