The next morning, Monday 27th

"Peter come on!" I yelled from his door when he was hurrying to get ready, we both overslept but I'm ready faster than him so now I was waiting on him.

Loki walked into the hallway smiling and I gave him a quick kiss on his lips.

"He's still sleeping?" I asked and Loki nodded dryly making me happy, I was hoping Tony wasn't having nightmares, the tea should work for that, but the fact that he was still asleep was good.

Peter walked out of the room and he looked at me frowning.

"What?" I asked him dryly when I just wanted to be on time. "You're going to school looking like that?" Peter asked. "I'm supposed to blend in with teachers Parker, stop commenting on my outfit we gotta go!" I said hurrying him again and he sighed smiling.

He could whine all he wanted about the way I looked, but this outfit was cool and it looked good on me.

We were in the car and I put on some nude lipstick using the mirror in the back, Peter looked at me fascinated by the move and I just chuckled.

"Anything out of the ordinary today?" I asked and Peter nodded no. "This week anything?" I asked and Peter smiled. "What?" I asked putting the lipstick away.

"Homecoming is Friday, didn't you know?" Peter asked as if it was a big deal to know. "Is that where that poster was for?" I asked and he looked at me with wide eyes nodding yes.

"And I can see by the look on your face that it's a big deal?" I asked again dryly being confused why Peter was so obsessed with this.

"Okay but that's for you," I said making him turn even more to me if that was possible.

"What? no, you have to come!" Peter said overexcited. "Why?" I asked not really convinced about the whole thing.

"You've never been to school and you want to skip the dance?" he asked and now I was thinking about it.

"I've had dances with the others, I bet they were better with this schools budget..." I said and Peter sighed while we arrived at the school.

The front was empty already meaning we were late, we both had different classes so that didn't matter we could just both go.

"It's probably worse, yeah, but it's with teenagers, and it's just a thing you have to experience, you have to come and if you don't like it after an hour you'll leave," Peter said keeping up with me as I walked into the school while he kept rambling on about this.

"Fine," I said dryly admitting I always dreamt of going to a school party as a kid so I just needed to do this for my younger self. I needed to go to the left and Peter ran straight into another hallway.

"Don't forget history paper!" Peter yelled and I rolled my eyes and yelled bye to him.

I walked into the classroom having all the eyes in the room on me, the teacher looked annoyed and I sat down next to MJ since it was English. She looked at me curiously but I just smiled at her.
