That same night, Sunday, December 12th, 3:30 am.
I opened Steve's bedroom door softly not even sure if he was alone in there... I looked inside but saw him sleeping alone in his bed, I closed the door softly and turned on the light next to his bed and he woke up startled looking around him.
"Celene? what the hell?" He asked and I grinned because of his choice of words but I knew this was weird.
"I just needed to ask something," I said and he sat up in his bed putting on a shirt, I sat down on the bed next to him on the edge while he was still kind of annoyed but he put it aside wanting to know what was wrong.
"Why are you wearing your suit?" he asked confused after looking at me more awake and I took a deep breath but didn't answer it.
"Where is Loki? he never got back from wherever he went?" I asked and he sighed. "Thor took him, to Asgard I think, I'm not sure, why..." he answered and I looked down disappointedly.
"Are you leaving?" Steve asked confused and I nodded softly, he sat up straighter and started lecturing me about how that was a terrible idea.
"Steve... Listen... I-... Shut up!" I said whispering yelling against him making him finally keep his mouth shut.
"I just wanted to know if I could reach him, I don't know when I'll be back, I have some stuff I need to do and I don't expect you to understand, but I don't have a choice," I said softly and Steve finally listened but he was feeling the urge to go with me.
"I'm sorry, tell Loki the same when you see him," I said and I turned his confusion to tiredness and he fell right back into the bad fast asleep, I sighed and left the room turning off the light and grabbing the bag I put outside of the room closing the door behind me.
I walked to the elevator and got out of the building that was empty except for the night worker who opened the door for me. I was walking outside in the cold but my suit was keeping me warm enough, I carried my backpack that I stuffed with some sandwiches, water, clothing and some weapons that didn't fit on my suit anymore.
I carried my burn phone with me knowing Peter was the only one who had the number to it and Stark would track my cellphone in a matter of time.
I was walking through the streets that were pretty much empty anyway so walking through the alleys wasn't necessary.
I didn't know where I needed to go, but I was guessing they'd find me soon enough to tell me.
-----6 hours later-----
"My plan? I'm not telling you, but, I can tell you about the time I broke a dude's neck while he was talking, it sounded so funny," I said chuckling taking a bite of my sandwich leaning against the wall in a random empty building.
"You are one crazy bitch," Some guy said, he was still young but once hydra, always hydra. A group came after me and I killed all of them except for him, I just broke his legs and arms and now he was almost going into shock, I guess listening to Jemma's rambles did teach me something after all...
"Thank you! now you tell me what his plan is before you go into shock, I'm the only one who can save you," I said softly finishing my bread and he started breathing weirdly groaning in pain. I stripped him from his clothes and burned them knowing all the tech they had to listen with us.
"His plan?" he asked confused. "Yeah, his pan, Dave's evil plan, what is it?" I asked and he looked at me so confused. I read his mind and it was just empty, I was trying to get anything but then realised the man had died while he looked at me.
I scoffed irritated hating the fact that he looked at me while dying knowing his ghost would come and hunt me.
I grabbed my bag and moved on walking outside in the now busy streets, it wasn't hydra I was looking out for now, it was the avengers knowing they were the only thing standing in my way.
