When I woke up in my bed the next morning, I saw it was already 8:30 am. I didn't have any nightmares even though I slept forever, so it was a good start for the day. I walked into the elevator to go get some breakfast, but when I arrived there no one was in the room, it was awfully silent.

"Jarvis where is everybody?" I asked while it still felt weird to talk to the walls of the room. "They are on a mission miss, but they told me to tell you Loki is still in the tower and available, would you like to let him know you are awake?" On a mission? it was probably wasn't a big one otherwise they would've let me know.

"No don't bother to alarm him, but thank you," I told Jarvis and I went back to my breakfast mission. It was so nice to be in a kitchen without a nose bleed from my stupid powers around people, I forgot my bracelets, but it wouldn't matter now anyway.

I ate some bread since it was the only thing I ever ate outside hydra, so I was sure I wouldn't be poisoned or some shit like that. Really, if I was going to die it was going to be an epic death, and not food poisoning.

'I'm beginning to hate bread' I thought to myself after a few days of eating only bread. It wasn't that bad, to be honest, but porridge once in a while, while being a prisoner, and bread once a day was not to be compared, my body just wanted something different.  I was just munching sort of happy on one slice of bread with jelly wandering through my mind.

"Goodmorning" Loki said and I shrieked not hearing him coming in, and I couldn't hear his thoughts too. I turned around and Loki was standing on the other side of the kitchen island looking at me without emotions again. I cleared my throat not being able to think of anything to say.

"Good morning to you too," I finally said after my brain fully woke up. "You usually never eat breakfast do you?" He asked me curiously, it felt like he was in a good mood. I usually ate at night when no one was awake so I stayed calm, but I was hoping he didn't know that.

"No, I don't, I get really nauseous" I replied softly continuing to eat. I wasn't really waiting for deep conversations in the morning, so I finished eating my bread while Loki accepted the silence and made something to eat. While he was doing that I couldn't help myself but look at how he did it, I adored watching my mum do it and that had been so long ago...

My mind wondered about hydra and my time there, all the times I ate and drank, and how I looked forward to that point every single day.  I was probably staring too deeply into my thoughts.

"Is it interesting?" He suddenly asks I look away from his food to his face and saw him looking at me weirded out. "No, I'm sorry I was just somewhere else in my mind," I answered and his face softened and he looked back at what he was doing.

"What were you thinking about?" He asked uncertainly after a while. I was surprised he was asking these kinds of questions this morning, he wasn't the type to socialize, let alone with me. "Nothing important" I answered again calmly. He turned around and he was holding two plates with round things on a pile with a liquid on top.

"Eat this,"  He said to me.

I looked at him questioning what he was doing, but he looked at me with the face of take it or leave it, so I took it.  It smelled amazing but I didn't know what it was. I looked to Loki who was eating his food not paying attention to me anymore.

I started eating them and they were delicious, they tasted like something I ate when I was younger. After a few minutes I ate most of them, they were delicious but I was also really full.  Loki was also done and was looking at me while I was standing up to put my dishes away.

"Aren't you going to eat all of them?" He asked, I looked back at him smiling already grateful for him making me something. "They were delicious thank you, but I'm just really full, I already ate bread before these," I said softly but he frowned at me.
