Chapter 54

1 week later, Sunday, September 19th.

Before this day not much happened, I went to Stephen anyway to study and learn more magic, we talked a lot about my fear of my powers and he was really understanding. We slowed down the physical training and we would wait until my leg was healed again, and since I was going to school I wanted to walk normally.

I studied long for the basics of all the classes so I wouldn't be stupid, but at least no one would ask me questions.

I was in the tower and tomorrow was the big day and I would go to school, another beginning of a new start and I was really fucking nervous...

"Hey," Steve said from the door opening, I was in my closet picking out my outfit helplessly, I changed it every second. I looked around the wall and said hi to him.

"Nervous?" he asked coming in and sitting down on the edge of my bed.

"Yeah," I said sighing

"You'll be okay," he said and I chuckled again making him frown.

"You don't know that," I said making him even more confused. I put the current outfit back and walked up to him.

"I will be going to the same location as a routine, you don't know what could happen," I said crossing my arms and he nodded.

"You're right, it's a risk, but it's not like you would give this change up out of fear," he said and I chuckled.

"Yeah, only there will be a thousand other students, and I don't like collateral damage," I said and he sighed.

"I get that you're thinking about all the possible options, but try to not think about that life, this is you living something like a normal life, try at least for this week, we will think about the threats," he said and I smiled

"I feel spoiled," I said smiling but he nodded no.

"If you were spoiled you would be living in one of Tony's houses already," he said and we laughed, that was probably true.

"This is going to be so fucking weird, I will come by after school to tell you everything before I will go to the sanctum," I said and he nodded

"I didn't expect anything less," he said making me chuckle

"So which one?" I asked keeping up two different outfits.

"Left, blending in on the first day is always a good move," he said "Good thinking," I said thanking him and putting it over my chair to have it ready for tomorrow.

"Is Celene here?" I heard Wanda ask when I was just in the closet again.

"In here, hi what's wrong?" I asked when she came around the corner.

'Girls only maybe?' she said into my head making me chuckle

"Hey, Steve can you give us some privacy?" I asked and he chuckled and let himself out after saying goodbye.

"Now you really have my attention," I said jokingly and Wanda started smiling.

"I need your help picking out an outfit for tomorrow," she said smiling and blushing.

"For what??" I asked curiously 

"A date..." she said smiling again and my eyes widened.

"Really, oh my god Wanda!" I squeaked and hugged her and she hugged me back.

"I'm so happy for you, of course, come here," I said dragging her to the dresses I had, I had a lot anyway and we were about the same size and height, different from Nat who was smaller...
