Request: Hello, I wanted to make a request (I wasnt sure this was the right place but I also didn't know how the other worked, sorry).

Could you please write something were reader is thinking about dropping out of school, and is super nervous with tests and etc, so she receive some comfort and help from The Bad Batch?

Thanks, and sorry if this is confusing, I'm not really good at english.

A/N: Howdy, sorry it's taken me so long to get to your request. I hope this is okay, I wasn't sure if you wanted a fic or HC, so just for my benefit I decided HC. This is also the first time I've kinda written for the whole batch and not just Tech, so if it seems out of character sorry. Enjoy!

Hunter:

Since he has keen senses, Hunter can easily pick up when you're stressed or tired.

He tried his best to help you, tried to understand what you were going through. He wanted to be there for you, whenever you needed it, no matter what.

He'd try to help you with your workload, but he knew he wasn't as smart as his brother, Tech, so he could only do so much.

He brought you anything you required, need some more pens? Hunters got you covered.

Haven't had any food or drinks? Hunter's right there with a bottle of water.

Need something to lighten the mood? He may not be a comedic genius but he's got some good jokes hidden in his armour.

"W-what do you call- ha ha- what are clone troopers muscles made of?"

"Hunteeerrrr,"

"Kamino acids."

Tech:

So Tech isn't one for emotion, he struggles to be emotive and as a result, pick up on someone else's emotional states too.

So when you come up to him in tears, face red and nose snotty, he just stares. You coil back, becoming uncomfortable with the tension in the room, why hadn't he said something, why is he just staring?

Tech shook his head, he may be dull to emotions but he knows when to stop looking like a creep. "I, er, what's wrong?" he sputters out.

You sniff back at him, going into a ramble about how you want to leave school, the works too much, the stress is continuous, you just couldn't take it.

Now while Tech is someone who believes education is the most important thing for a person, he can see the effects it's having on you.

He pats you on the shoulder, sending you the best warm smile he could. "I-I may not understand what you're going through, but I can ensure you that I will help every step of the way."

He'll try to convince you to not drop out, he even offers to help you with your workload. But if it's something you really want to do, he won't stop you either, instead, he'll praise you and what you've accomplished.

Wrecker:

Is the first one out of his brothers to notice you're upset.

He makes it his mission to cheer you up, Omega helps too.

Omega will let you use her room for the night, it's a tight fit for Wrecker but he'll do anything to make you smile.

Half of his body may be sticking out of the room, but he doesn't care, he's too hypnotised by your laughter as you watch the holoflick in front of you.

It takes your mind off of school, of all the work you have to do.

At one point, you do end up telling Wrecker why you're so worked up. And surprisingly, he handles it pretty well.

"Ah, well, if I were you I'd do what felt right. Just because ya doin' somethin' that doesn't seem normal to others, don't make you weird. Makes ya family."

You wanted to cry again for a whole new different reason.

Echo:

Like Tech, Echo believed in structure and having a proper education. Coming from the academy, Echo was used to the concept of schooling and rather enjoyed it.

Well minus some parts.

He understood your need to leave it, to escape, but he wished you'd give it some more thought.

But when you returned one afternoon saying you quit school, he couldn't help but celebrate with you.

He'd try to stop you from burning your work, just in case you changed your mind, but he wouldn't say anything if a paper or two happened to slip into the grasp of the flames.

He'd listen to your rants about your time in school and the other pupils you had to spend years with, only to never speak to them again.

He found it funny the number of times you actually complained about the school, but he always took it seriously if something actually caused you distress.

Crosshairs:

Despises the concept of school and education, the guy hated his time in the academy and it isn't really hard to see why.

So when you start muttering to yourself about how you're going to drop out, ruffled papers in hand, he can't help but release a breathy chuckle.

"What're you laughing at?" you huff out, giving him an evil glare.

Crosshair would sit beside you while you grumbled through your work, watching with beady eyes.

"You seem to be enjoying your workload, hm? That's what you get for joining that school."

"Could you not be an ass, for like one second?"

"You wouldn't like me if I weren't one."

"You think I like you now?"

Although he hides his sensitive side, he does still care and will point out little mistakes you've made. Not to be a dick but to help you out in his own little way.

And, hey? Maybe one day you do decide to take up his advice and quit.
