Request: Hi!! I absolutely adore your Tech fanfics, I love them so much. I was wondering if you could do a Hunter x reader one as well? Doesn't matter what it's about, I know whatever you do it'll be fantastic! Love your writing!

There was a tapping on the barracks doors, meek little knocks that could barely be heard by anyone who didn't have enhanced hearing. Hunter shifted in his cot, the irritating rattling sound persisting on and on. It seemed no one else was going to get it, even if Crosshair was by the door.

"I'll get it then," he snided, shifting from his cot and slouching as he grumbled across the room. The bright, sterile lights on the corridor filled their room like a sea of white, on the other side was your small frame. You had this big, gleaming smile on your face, eyes the size of saucers, "Can I help you?" Hunter awkwardly asked.

You calmed down your excited breathing, but couldn't knock the smile from your face "I couldn't help but wonder if I was in the correct location of Clone Force 99?" Your hands were folded behind your back, but Hunter could hear the creaking of the clipboard, felt how tightly your fingers were gripping the plastic.

"You are, what's this about might I ask?" he was sceptical, no one really interacted with his crew unless you were here to call them some dumb name. You finally brought the clipboard from around your back, showing him your credentials, "Pardon the formalities, but I'm here to question you and your group. I work for a paper company that supports the Republic and my readers have been following the creation of Clone Force 99 very heavily."

"Your readers, huh?" Hunter raised a brow at you, not quite believing everything you were saying, though how would a spy get onto Kamino in the first place. You hummed a reply, waiting for him to allow you access.

While letting you in would be a security risk to his team, you seemed harmless. You weren't carrying anything that could be a weapon, all that you had was your clipboard and a necklace with a shell on it. Hunter shifted, opening his arm and allowing you access into his humble aboded.

"Fella's, meet-" he paused and turned to you, his voice a hushed whisper, "I'm sorry, but I don't believe I got your name?"

"(Y/N) (L/N)." he eyed you up and down before continuing, "Fella's, (L/N) here is a journalist, been following our batch for a while; they want to ask us some questions."

-------------------------------------------------------------------

It had been a few months since you had met Clone Force 99 or more locally known as the Bad Batch. You had formed a great friendship with Hunter, even if you longed for something more, you couldn't help the inclining of developing a crush on the clone. Hell, the man was handsome and he knew it!

After you had published your initial story, the editor got more and more requests to hear stories from these clones; so you kept coming back. And boy, were you glad you did. These guys were some of the best teammates a person could have!

The Bad Batch had gone on a rescue mission two weeks ago, something about finding a long thought dead clone? You weren't quite sure, Hunter didn't give you much detail before he jumped on his ship. But you couldn't wait for their return, well mainly Hunter's. Tonight was the night when you were gonna ask him to hang out...alone.

Every other time before this his brothers were always there, they did everything together which meant not a lot of opportunities for time spent together. Tech and Crosshair were pretty obvious about your attraction to their leader, hinting at it multiple times as well as giving you plenty of occasions to have some one-on-one. But something always seemed to happen, whether that be Wrecker barging in or a mission that would take a cycle to complete.
