A/N: Howdy everyone, today I offer you a new Tech fic...mayhaps even a series? I was very much inspired by Wandavision but the plot doesn't really fit with the show so you don't have to worry about that. Hope you enjoy and perhaps want more because I have some cool ideas for this series if it goes ahead!

Tech x Female reader

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

"These trousers are awfully loose," Tech muttered, pinching the fabric between his index finger and his thumb, the material bunching closer to his legs. You huffed out another sigh, growing irritated with his constant complaints throughout the entirety of the journey.

"You're only saying that because your blacks are skin-tight, it's a good thing to let your legs breath in a while." you offered a good point, one that Tech couldn't ignore even if he wanted to. Pointing his finger up as he opened his mouth to speak, very few words made it out, "Bantha got your tongue?" you mused with a smug grin lining your lips.

Tech shook his head, brows furrowing as he continued to pick apart his outfit, "I believe this shirt is too formal for where we're going, maybe I should go find another one in that box Cid provided us with." He stood quickly, ready to scamper away to the depths of the small ship you were given. Sticking your arm out against his hips, you stopped him, "Ease up, soldier, you look fine, now sit down and prepare for landing."

At your command, Tech sat back in his chair with a few mumbles of his own before complying and helping you land the ship. Once you got closer to the planet, it's beauty radiated tenfold, the deep blues of the oceans and bright greens of the grasslands told you this planet would be fun. Tech had obviously ran a quick diagnosis of the planet the moment it was mentioned where you two would be jetted off to, his reports telling him the planet was mostly harmless and less advanced than other parts of the galaxy.

You had landed in a wooded area close to a small little town, per Cid's orders. The sky was blue, the grass was green what more could you want? Grabbing some bags and other equipment with you, Tech led the way to the exit of the ship with a datapad in hand, "What's this planet called again?" you asked, awestruck by the sights surrounding the outer fields of the forest.

"Earth, their tongue is similar to our own in this particular region so there is no need to learn the language." Tech began to ramble, telling you in great detail about all the tribes of people that lived all over the planet, each having their own time zones and settings. You had tracked for a few minutes, finally reaching the border of the forest and finding a thin dirt path that flooded into the town.

"What a quaint little town," you hummed, following Tech as he walked past shop windows humming in agreement. His face was stuck in his datapad, glasses dipping down his nose when he bent his neck too far. You continued to gaze into the big windows as you walked down the main street, trusting Tech to get you to the right place. Clothes, food and all sorts of material shimmered and shined in the window displays, you couldn't wait to investigate this planet even more.

"Wow, there's so much stuff here. We definitely have to look around at some point," you told Tech, jogging to catch up with him, seemingly in your distracted state you had slowed down a bit. Tech flicked his gaze to the storefronts, only nodding his head, "Yes, but only after we complete the mission."

Oh right, the mission. Cid had got a message from an unknown source saying they were looking for a missing person, their men had tracked them to this planet but needed someone with a more delicate touch to find them. Of course, Cid took the hefty payment and sent you and Tech to follow the case, apparently you were, in her words, "The only two people to mess up the least."
