But i Like your stories, especially those with Tech, so i thought maybe a little storie of how tech and the reader first meet. Like love at the first sight or something :3 idk maybe Tech a bit at a distance because he cannot classify these new feelings and so the reader thinks he hates (Y/N)

Have a great day :3

You'd had caught his attention for a while now, always somehow in the same place at the same time; it was scary. But not enough to deter him away from you.

Tech always made sure to keep one eye on you and one eye on the task at hand, studying you from a distance, afraid to get too close. Why? He hadn't the slightest idea as to why. Maybe it was because of your beauty, the way your eyes shone in the sunlight or the bright sterile lights of the hanger. Maybe it was the sweet melody of your voice, something Tech conferred to himself that he liked listening to more than music.

Or maybe it was the fact that Tech was scared to accept his feelings for you. Feelings meant emotion and emotion meant hesitation and hesitation meant not being completely optimal when needed for a task. Besides, Tech had been around enough Jedi to know that feelings were bad.

So he stayed away, stayed quiet, stayed hidden from your view; and it drove him crazy. But he lived that way to protect you, at least that's what he says, but really it's to protect himself. Tech is a clone, pointing out the obvious, but being a clone meant you were limited in what you could do.

Tech could never voluntarily leave the Republic, nor could he go start a family. Tech wouldn't ever be able to live a normal life, especially since he is more than just your average clone. And he knew you cared deeply for that, to have children, to have a husband, to live a free and happy life.

Tech thought about it every day, but reasonably he knew it would never happen, just continued to be fantasies in his head. Inside said head lay math problems, parts of the Havock he wanted to fix or upgrade, the newest technology and then, of course, you.

He still remembers the first day he ever laid eyes on you, sat in the cantine with the other clones, laughing your head off. He didn't even remember why you were there in the first place, something to do with the Jedi. Who cares though, you were there and you were beautiful.

Flashback -

He saw you from across the way, three or four tables back he calculated. His eyes were trained on your face, the small dimples in your cheeks, the way your hair swayed when you threw your head back. He could even hear the delicate laughter that fell from your lips.

"You gonna keep starin' or are you actually gonna grow a pair and talk to them?" Hunter laughed, nudging his elbow against Tech's chest. Said clone was not amused, instead, he drifted his gaze away from you and onto the slop they called food. His fingers traced the rim of his glasses, pushing them further along his blushing cheeks, "I wasn't staring, I was simply studying."

"Oh yeah, cause that doesn't sound anymore creepy!" Wrecker laughed, shoving another forkful of crap into his mouth. Tech simply sighed, pushing his meal away from him, no longer feeling his appetite. Wrecker's fingers crept over to the tray, awaiting permission from Tech to take it.

"Go ahead, Wrecker." he waved off his hand in dismissal, giving the go-ahead for Wrecker to pile up his already clean tray. Hunter raised a brow at his brother, flicking his attention to the person that had taken his brother's concentration. They were laughing away with the other clones, hands on their armour. That is until they stepped away to the water fountain.

An idea came to Hunter in that moment, "Hey, Tech, ya got a minute?"

Tech looked up from his datapad, happy he just brought it along, though it was never far from his side. He turned the pad off and faced his brother, "I can give you more than a minute, what is it?"

"Do you think you could get me another drink, a cup of water specifically?"

Tech stared at his brother, trying to figure out what he was planning. Coming up empty, he agreed and took the cheap, plastic cup. Crosshair followed Tech with his eyes as he stood and walked over to the water fountain, "What are you planning?"

Hunter sat with crossed arms and a cheap grin, "Just giving him a little nudge in the right direction, is all."

Tech found himself frozen to the ground, he now knew what Hunter was planning but couldn't find himself to walk away; not when he's already so close. He continued his paced steps over to the water cooler, tremoring hands pouring out a new cup of water.

"Hey there, I don't think we've met yet? I'm (Y/N)." you stuck your hand out, a big smile on your face. You had taken Tech by surprise, he hadn't planned to actually interact with you. Slowly, he met your line of sight, and he was frozen again, stuck in the colour of your eyes. Eventually, time caught up to him, he threw his hand out, swallowing the spit building up in his throat.

"I-I'm Tech." you grabbed his hand with such strength it surprised him, your smile had seemed to enlargen if that were even possible. Your hand felt so soft to him, well he imagined it did, he couldn't tell with his gloves on, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Tech."

The way you said his name nearly caused the man to faint, he felt a spark travel from your hand to his, ignited between you both at the mere contact of your hands. Pulling away, Tech took the now overflowing cup from the water cooler, "T-the pleasures all m-mine." he stuttered out. This wasn't like him, he didn't stutter, he spoke the Queen's English.

"I see you're a part of clone force 99? How long are you stationed here for?"

"Another cycle, though we're never sure when the Republic will need us, could be today could be tomorrow." Tech felt comfortable with the topic somewhat off of himself and more focused on his team, his brothers. You poked your head around Tech and saw the table where he came from, the other clones from his batch were watching you. Well, they were until you caught them staring, they all snapped back to face each other, cheeks rosy; you couldn't help but grin.

"Excuse me for being so forward but, what are you doing later?"

Tech felt like his brain had been split in half, one side running faster than hyperspace while the other was as slow as the sunset on Tatooine. You stood awaiting his answer, "I-I-er, yes, yes sorry. I-erm, I'm just repairing my ship, b-but you're very welcome to come by and c-chat."

"I'd love to come by and...chat, see you then." you left him with a wink and an aching feeling in his heart. No matter how terrified he felt about seeing you again, he couldn't wait for later to come by.

End of flashback -

No matter how many times Tech wishes your first interaction with each other went a little more smoothly, he would never regret meeting you. And you kept to your word, you came by his ship later that day, you met his brothers and stuck around; in fact, you actively listened to his ramblings.

You left with the promise of seeing him again, and again turned into a few more times and a few more times turned into every day. But Tech knew he couldn't keep this up, at some point his feelings would grow too strong for him to control, to hide away from you. That's when he stopped hanging out with you, stopped talking to you, stopped smiling or giving brief waves as you passed by.

But he knew, he knew no matter what he did, he'd never stop loving you. That feeling, that feeling was deep inside his heart, wriggling around in there, burying itself further into his heart. No matter what Tech did, he knew he would never stop loving you.
