A/N: Woah, I actually released a fic on Tech Tuesday, I swear that never happens? Anyway, have this crappy excuse of a story! Would anyone like to see a part 2 for this because I've got some ideas in mind?———————————————————————————————————

A night out on the town, it was all you needed to feel alive again. No longer dragging your feet around the ship out of exhaustion, no longer begging for some caf; no matter how crappy it tasted. You simply let the music take you and the alcohol fuel you, there wasn't a better way of living than that.

And the batch had agreed with you, you had all had some hard missions this week and if anything were to save you all it would be a drink with only the highest amounts of alcohol in them. You had practically rushed out of the Havock at the very thought of getting drunk that night, the only thing on your mind was a party, to have fun and dance the night away.

Some members of the group were a little more...apprehensive about the whole experience, rather choosing to slowly drink away at their glass than go all out like the rest of you did. That person was Tech, he cared more about his words and behaviour while drunk than any of you did. Where you slurred words and laughed uncontrollably, Tech spoke fully articulated and sat up straight in the booth.

Although, he had to admit that he did find your drunken state humourous, to say the least. You were much more loose than you usually were, but he knew alcohol had that effect on people. Take Hunter, for example, their usually stoic Sergent was cracking jokes and dancing in his chair to the distant music playing from the bar's speakers. Any other day, the trooper would be caught dead dancing, only cracking some snarky comments on a mission, but with alcohol enthused into his veins, he was a completely different person.

Yes, Tech had noted the effects of their murky drink on each of the batch members. Wrecker was louder, if that was even possible, Crosshairs was more open, even if his emotions came out in the form of harsh sarcasm and Echo, well like Tech, he tended to drink less; a smart move on his part really.

But he had to admit he much preferred your drunken state compared to his brothers; he'd die in a hole if his brothers had flirted with him the way you did. You were currently joined to the hip with Tech, arms rubbing against his armour as you cackled at something Wrecker had said, head thrown back in hysterics.

Tech wasn't quite sure what his brother had said to make you laugh so hard, he was too distracted by your face to even care. He'd never admit it to you while you were fully sober, but Tech found himself falling more and more in love with you as time went on. It took him a while to come to that conclusion, that he was in love with you, it just didn't seem right to him. He knew he was a defect from the original clone recipe, but to fall in love?

It wasn't uncommon for that to happen, especially in the wider world outside of the clone anatomy, but for it to happen to him felt like a joke. A cruel prank by the universe, the force if he so chooses. But the blink of your lashes against your rosy cheeks, the dip in your nose from a few missions back when you got caught under debris, the shine in your eyes. He couldn't help but fall for you, it was logical after all, he had done the math.

He had calculated the possibility of you liking him back, 67% for those who wondered, it was a high percentage indeed but there was still a 33% chance that you didn't like him either. Tech didn't want to ruin the relationship he had with you, an awkward partnership that soon dubbed into a friendship. He'd hate to ruin that, and there lied his apprehension to mention it to you, no matter how logical the step seemed.
