A/N: I'm not going to lie, I really just wanted to write a Tech fic but had literally no ideas for it so have this garbage. Enjoy!

The stars were out, shining bright in the sky, dotting the treeline. The air was peaceful, quiet chirps of whatever animal that roamed the planet echoed amongst the soft breeze. You seemed to recall someone saying that the night sky was at a disadvantage, most people simply miss its beauty because they are asleep, there are only the few that understand its true uniqueness.

With that thought in mind, you pushed your knees closer towards your chest, arms wrapped around them to keep them in place. You were sat on a hillside, the Havoc Marauder sitting silently behind you, it's occupants no doubt inside. The batch had stopped onto this planet for a simple rest, a quick snooze where no one could shoot at them. You don't remember the name of the planet you're on, memory hazy whenever Tech spoke.

You found your eyes were glued to the stars, blissfully unaware of anything happening around you; which had its advantages and disadvantages. The prickle of lush, green grass, brush past your skin sent shivers down your spine. The moment interrupted by timid steps from the background, rushed but at the same time delayed. Nervous.

The newcomer stood beside you, his head tilting to observe you, checking if you were okay before going to look at the scenery. You hadn't spoken a word to him since you told the crew you needed a moment to breathe, and that was only twenty minutes ago.

"Tech, if you don't sit down in the next few minutes then I'll pull you down myself." you huffed out, eyes unmoving. You heard Tech scoff at you, but after a few silent thoughts, he gracefully fell next to you. His armour clashed with the ground, scratching and chafing as he moved into a more comfortable position. "You know, this clone armour wasn't meant for leisurely spots of stargazing." he quipped, his tone snarky.

You hummed out a small whim of laughter, finally turning to take in his form. You roamed his frame, armour jagged and sticking out, it looked awfully uncomfortable. His arms were splayed over themselves as he held his datapad, typing and deleting away. His legs were folded over, crisscrossed like a youngling. "You need to relax more," you chided, "There's a whole star system out there and you're too busy with your nose stuck in some dumb holopad."

"I've got the whole galaxy on this holopad, so I think I'll be fine. But thank you for your concern." his voice sounded robotic, but you knew that to just be normal. With a huff and puff, you swivelled to face him, posture similar to his. Without warning you pushed at his chest plates, using all your nonexistent strength to push the tall genius over.

"What are you doing?" he questioned, a smile hidden by his helmet. You refused to make eye contact with those yellow-tinted goggles and that dumb look on his face. Instead, you continued to push with all you might, hissing out a quick: "Trying to make you relax."

Tech took the moment to think about it, like he usually did with most things. Embracing this child-like nature you suddenly enthused, he fell back, allowing your weight to topple him onto the grass. His armour wounded his back, the pain only lasting a mere second before he broke out into a wide grin. "Ah yes, you were right, sitting on uneven ground is much more relaxing."

"Don't be a smartass, Tech." you teased, looking up at him. You frowned, eyes boring into the peepers of his helmet. He tilted his head to the best of his ability, confused by your slight hatred towards his gear, "What is it?" he fussed. His hands went to reach for his face, regretfully forgetting the barrier of hard plastic that blocked him. You swatted his hands away, placing a palm on each side of his face and silently asking him for permission.

Tech's hands reached up on top of your own, aiding you in the process of sliding his helmet off. Once the contraption was gone and thrown to the side like leftover vegetables, you beamed up at him, finger scraping along the peak of his cheekbone. "There, much better." you mused, mischief in your eyes. Tech returned with a slanted smile, forehead bumping with your own, "I suppose so,"

It remained quiet, the faint breathing coming from you and Tech seemed to be the only sound around for miles. The chirping had long since stopped, and so did the commotion on the Havoc Marauder, which could only mean everyone was back in their bunks; or spying on you and their genius brother, that was always a possibility.

"Isn't it beautiful out tonight, Tech?" you sighed, rolling next to him and gazing up at the inky black sky. Tech snaked an arm around your waist, his confidence soaring when you snuggled closer. He took his train of thought away from you, for once, and looked towards the stars. His eyes marvelled as he began rattling away about the constellations. The moment his mouth had opened he couldn't appear to stop, going into specifics about how a star is 'born', etc.

But it seemed at some point it had caught up to him, he cut himself off midsentence and huffed out a breath. You were just about to face him but he spoke up again, "It is rather relaxing, isn't it?" you smiled, a big, warm smile.

"See, we could do this every night if you weren't so invested in that holopad. Think of all the things you could miss out on."

He remained mute again, this time his attention purely on you. "Well, I definitely wouldn't want to miss out on this, now would I?" he spoke honestly. He began moving, causing you to move as a side effect, and faced you with hesitation in his eyes. "(Y/N), I- I don't want to be the clone with all the knowledge but no experience. I don't want to miss out on the things that will make me happy, make you happy." he began, mouth moving a mile a minute.

As he spoke, he leaned closer and closer towards you, eventually, you replicated. "I'd rather experience the galaxy with you, if you would have me?" his fingers tussled together, legs jittery as he prayed to the maker you would understand such a noble gesture.

"Are you implying you want to kiss me?"

"I'm implying much more than that," he placed a finger against his goggles, pushing them further up his nose to release some tension in his fingers. With a devious smirk adorning your lips, you booped your nose against his, enjoying the fuzzy pink tinting his cheeks. "I'd like that a lot," you whispered, the air between the two of you nonexistent.

"Well, that's a relief." he sighed with a nervous smile, eyes flicking down to your lips. He thought the action had gone unnoticed, but he was very wrong. You pushed your lips against his, surprised at how much softer they were than in your imagination. It took him by astonishment, eyes wide and mouth clearly occupied, he couldn't utter a single word.

Your hands wandered from the clumps of grass pulled from the ground and soothed their way up to his hair. Tech's palms hovered over your frame, too afraid to touch you in case he woke up and realised it was all a dream. But with the confirmation of you wanting this just as badly as he did, his fingers gripped the fibres of your clothes and bruised his lips against yours.

Pulling apart, your breaths came out in endless pants, eyes hazy but full of lust. "Do- do," you huffed out, regaining your breath, "Do you feel relaxed yet?" you teased. Tech smirked, a curt chuckle leaving his swollen lips, "Darling, I've never been more relaxed in my entire life than when I'm with you."

He dived back in without warning, tongue grazing the bottom of your lips. You released a squeal, a moan so high pitched only dogs could hear. The stars glistened above you, shining down on the newly formed couple. The dark shadows it cast hiding the watching brothers hidden in the entrance of their ship, proud smiles and low hoots emitting from them.
